secops-scanner

secops-scanner is a skill for Claude Code from racastellanosm/agent-skills. It costs 115 tokens per session (1,399 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A security-audit workflow that runs code, dependency, container, infrastructure, and secret checks inside temporary Docker containers.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for static code analysis, dependency vulnerability checks, container and infrastructure scanning, secret detection, and a security review report.
Why use it?
It lets a project use several security scanners without requiring their language runtimes or command-line tools on the host machine.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00115 $0.01399
Opus 5.5 $0.00046 $0.00560
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00023 $0.00280
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00140

Security

Grade A, and why

secops-scanner scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

SecOps Scanner & Security Audit Skill (100% Dockerized)

This skill guides AI agents and engineers to execute comprehensive, multi-layered security audits across any software repository following the Zero Host Dependencies philosophy:

🛡️ Zero Host Dependencies Invariant:
The host machine requires only Docker.
All security scanners (SAST, SCA, IaC, Container Image, and Secret Detection) MUST execute inside isolated, ephemeral containers mounting the project in read-only mode (:ro). Zero local language runtimes, Python/Node CLIs, or host binaries are required.

🧭 Core Audit Pipeline (5 Security Pillars)

[ 1. SAST ] ➔ [ 2. SCA / OSV ] ➔ [ 3. IaC & Images ] ➔ [ 4. Secrets ] ➔ [ 5. Code Review & Report ]
(Semgrep) (OSV-Scanner) (Aqua Trivy) (Gitleaks) (SECURITY-AUDIT-REPORT.md)

When the user requests a security audit (or specific scan layer), execute the corresponding ephemeral Docker containers from the project root (prefixing with rtk if available on the host):

1. SAST — Static Application Security Testing (Semgrep)

Auto-detects project languages (TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Python, Go, PHP, Rust, Java) and scans source code against OWASP Top 10 and security rulesets:

docker run --rm --pull=always -v "$(pwd):/src:ro" semgrep/semgrep:latest semgrep scan --config=auto --quiet /src

2. SCA — Dependency & Lockfile Vulnerability Scanning (Google OSV-Scanner)

Scans all lockfiles (bun.lock, package-lock.json, pnpm-lock.yaml, yarn.lock, go.mod, Cargo.lock, requirements.txt, poetry.lock, composer.lock) against the Google Open Source Vulnerabilities (OSV.dev) database:

docker run --rm --pull=always -v "$(pwd):/src:ro" ghcr.io/google/osv-scanner:latest scan source -r /src

3. IaC & Container Security (Aqua Trivy)

  • 3A. Dockerfile, Compose & IaC Misconfigurations:
    docker run --rm --pull=always -v "$(pwd):/src:ro" aquasec/trivy:latest config --severity HIGH,CRITICAL,MEDIUM /src

  • 3B. Built Container Image CVE Scan (when inspecting local images):
    docker run --rm --pull=always -v /var/run/docker.sock:/var/run/docker.sock aquasec/trivy:latest image --severity HIGH,CRITICAL "<image-name:tag>"

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

secops-scanner is a skill published in the GitHub repository racastellanosm/agent-skills (1 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 115 tokens to every session and 1,399 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-18.
