dtc-metrics

dtc-metrics is a skill for Claude Code from rafaelsztutman/dtc-mcp. It costs 0 tokens per session (383 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when reviewing an online shop’s revenue, order values, marketing costs, customer value, email results, or performance benchmarks.
Why use it?
It removes the need to work out what common shop metrics mean or which calculations to use.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00383
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00192
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00077
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00038

Measured 11d ago against content hash d12ab3fb10f7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-11, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

dtc-metrics scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

DTC Metrics Reference

Key metrics for DTC e-commerce brands, in order of importance:

Revenue Metrics

  • Revenue: Total sales in period
  • AOV (Average Order Value): revenue / orders
  • RPR (Revenue per Recipient): Email revenue / emails delivered. Better than total revenue for campaign comparison.
  • LTV (Customer Lifetime Value): Total revenue from a customer over their lifetime

Acquisition Metrics

  • CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost): Total marketing spend / new customers acquired
  • LTV:CAC Ratio: Target >3:1 for sustainable growth
  • New vs Returning Split: Healthy = 30-40% new customers

Email/SMS Benchmarks

Metric Healthy Warning Critical
Open Rate >25% 20-25% <20%
Click Rate >3% 2-3% <2%
Unsubscribe Rate <0.2% 0.2-0.3% >0.3%
Spam Rate <0.05% 0.05-0.1% >0.1%
Bounce Rate <1% 1-2% >2%

Email Revenue Share

Range Assessment
25-40% of total Healthy email program
<20% of total Underperforming — optimize flows and campaigns
>50% of total Over-reliant — diversify acquisition channels

When Presenting Metrics

  1. Show the number AND the benchmark context
  2. Include period-over-period comparison
  3. Flag anything outside healthy ranges
  4. Lead with revenue impact, not vanity metrics
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
