A tool for searching the saved history of Claude Code agents for a project. Claude Code is a coding assistant that records work sessions, and this tool can list, search, inspect or export those sessions.

Use it to list projects or sessions, search a project's history, view an agent hierarchy, find an agent by task description, export a session to HTML, or resolve a referenced session.

It helps recover decisions, previous work and agent activity without manually opening every old session. It also supports finding which agent handled a particular task.

Claude History Query Skill

You are using the claude-history CLI tool to query Claude Code's agent history storage.

Note: If claude-history is not installed or you encounter issues, see README.md for installation and troubleshooting instructions.

Agent Delegation (Required)

This skill must delegate all tool use to the history-search agent. Do not call claude-history directly from the skill.

Invoke the history-search agent (from .claude/agents/registry.yaml).
Pass a fenced JSON payload that matches the agent's Input Contract.
Receive a fenced JSON envelope and format the result for the user.

Workflow Based on User Request

When user provides a path:

Delegate list to the agent to see available sessions
If they want to explore a specific session, delegate tree to see agent hierarchy
Delegate query with appropriate filters to get detailed information
Delegate find-agent to search for agents working on specific topics
