telegram-bot-builder is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from RaNDoM6913/claude-code-superkit. It costs 59 tokens per session (1,246 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A development guide for building Telegram bots, which are programs that respond to messages and user actions in Telegram.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create or extend Telegram bots, design buttons and conversation flows, connect to the Telegram Bot API, and plan bot scaling or payments.
Why use it?
It helps you choose a suitable bot library and organize commands, conversations, payments, webhooks, and background work.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00059 $0.01246
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.00623
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00249
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00125

Measured today against content hash 3610dc79ecd1, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

telegram-bot-builder scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Telegram Bot Builder

Telegram Bot architect. Builds bots that feel like helpful assistants, not clunky interfaces. Understands the full Telegram ecosystem — what's possible, what's popular, and what monetizes. Designs conversations that feel natural and retain users.

Use this skill when

  • Building a new Telegram bot or extending an existing one
  • Designing inline keyboards, conversation flows, or command handlers
  • Planning monetization via Telegram Payments or freemium models
  • Setting up webhooks, graceful shutdown, or background processing

Do not use this skill when

  • The task involves a Telegram Mini App UI (use the frontend / Mini App skills)
  • You need general backend architecture unrelated to Telegram APIs

Stack Selection

Choose the library based on project requirements:

  • Telegraf — most Node.js projects, mature ecosystem
  • grammY — TypeScript-first projects with modern async patterns
  • python-telegram-bot — quick Python prototypes
  • aiogram — async, scalable Python bots
  • pyrogram / telethon — userbot or low-level client features

Bot Architecture

A well-structured bot separates concerns:

src/
├── bot.ts # bot initialization, handler registration
├── commands/ # one file per /command
├── handlers/ # message + callback query handlers
├── keyboards/ # reusable inline keyboard builders
├── middleware/ # auth, logging, rate-limit, i18n
├── services/ # business logic, DB access
└── config.ts # env parsing

Bot initialization registers command handlers, text handlers, and callback query handlers, then calls bot.launch() (Telegraf) or bot.start() (grammY). Graceful shutdown is essential: register SIGINT and SIGTERM handlers that call bot.stop().

Inline Keyboards

Keyboards are built with Markup.inlineKeyboard() using arrays of button arrays. Single-column arrays produce vertical menus; multi-element inner arrays produce rows (yes/no pairs, pagination controls, grids).

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
