Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |

| Fable 5.1 | $0.00082 | $0.00819 |

Grade A, and why
verify-data-pipeline scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 40 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Verify a data pipeline with Scherlok
A dbt run that exits 0 only says the SQL ran. scherlok verify compares the tables with the baseline a person approved (row counts, schema, NULL rates, distinct values, distributions, freshness) and never changes that baseline, so a broken table keeps failing until the data is fixed.
When
- After every
dbt runordbt buildthat changed models, before reporting the work as done. - With the Scherlok plugin's hook, the check runs on its own after
dbt runanddbt build, and its result arrives next to the command's output. Read it instead of running verify again. If it says Scherlok did not verify the run, run the check yourself or say so in your report.
The loop
- Verify what was built:
- dbt:
scherlok verify --dbt-project <project dir> --output jsonchecks the models that succeeded in the last run. - Other pipelines:
scherlok verify --table <table> --table <table> --output json. - When the Scherlok MCP server is connected, its
verifytool does the same; pass the tables you built.
- dbt:
- Read
passed, then each anomaly:table,type,severity,column,metric,baseline,current,change_pct,hint. - Fix the cause in the model or SQL, never the check:
- A key whose distinct ratio dropped, often with a row-count spike: a join fanned out. Confirm with
scherlok reconcile --source <input table> --target <output table> --key <key> --output json, then join on the full key, keep one row per key, or aggregate before joining. - Row count dropped: a filter or an inner join removed rows.
- NULL rate rose: a join key stopped matching, or a column mapping changed.
- Column added, removed or retyped: the model's schema changed.
- A key whose distinct ratio dropped, often with a row-count spike: a join fanned out. Confirm with
- Run the pipeline again, then verify again. Repeat until
passedis true. - Report what verify found, what you changed, and the final result. Name what was not checked:
tables_without_baseline(a new table gets only the new-table checks) anddbt_models_not_found.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

verify-data-pipeline is a skill published in the GitHub repository rbmuller/scherlok (13 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 82 tokens to every session and 819 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-11-06.
