mulmoclaude: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/setup-mulmoclaude/SKILL.md

setup-mulmoclaude is a skill for Claude Code from receptron/mulmoclaude. It costs 44 tokens per session (837 once invoked), scanned C, original, MIT.

An interactive setup guide for MulmoClaude, a project that requires a configured app environment and several command-line dependencies.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when installing or starting MulmoClaude, checking whether it is already running, or diagnosing missing prerequisites.
Why use it?
It checks common setup problems, including port conflicts and missing Docker, ffmpeg, or Claude CLI dependencies. It also points to the project README for installation instructions.

This is receptron/mulmoclaude's own configuration. It tells Claude Code how to work on mulmoclaude itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything mulmoclaude configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.00837
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00418
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00167
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00084

Measured 12d ago against content hash eaed111741b7, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade C, and why

setup-mulmoclaude scanned grade C with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Recursive force deletehighDestructive command

rm -rf with a variable or a broad path is one typo away from removing the wrong tree.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 57 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Setup MulmoClaude

Guide the user through MulmoClaude setup following README.md (Installation / Running the App sections). Claude handles checks and pitfall guidance.

Step 1: Follow README setup

Read README.md Installation section and walk the user through it (yarn install.env).

Step 2: Port 5173 availability

lsof -i :5173 -sTCP:LISTEN
  • Available: proceed
  • In use: show PID and command. Suggest that MulmoClaude may already be running — skip to Step 4 browser open, or stop the process with Ctrl+C

Step 3: Dependency check

Check each dependency below. Install commands are NOT duplicated in this skill — README's ### Prerequisites section is the single source of truth. If something is missing, tell the user which dependency + which feature is affected, then point them to README's Prerequisites section.

Dependency Detect Required for Skippable?
claude CLI auth claude --version succeeds AND ~/.claude/.credentials.json (or equivalent) exists Agent loop No
Docker running which docker && docker info Sandbox mode Yes — if .env has DISABLE_SANDBOX=1
ffmpeg on PATH which ffmpeg Movie generation Yes — if user doesn't generate videos

Docker-specific notes:

  • If which docker is not found, point to README's Prerequisites + Installing Docker Desktop. Localized READMEs (README.ja.md / README.zh.md / README.ko.md / README.es.md / README.pt-BR.md / README.fr.md / README.de.md) have an equivalent section with a language-specific anchor — link to the one that matches the user's language
  • If Docker is installed but not running, open -a Docker (macOS) and wait until the whale icon is steady

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
