design-system

design-system is a skill for Claude Code from reggiechan74/cc-plugins. It costs 113 tokens per session (2,620 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A visual style system for interactive research-report websites. It defines dark colours, typography, spacing, themes, and component styling using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to style report websites, change theme colours, customise interface components, and address visual accessibility needs.
Why use it?
It removes the need to decide and implement the site's visual rules one component at a time. It also helps keep colours, text, and interactive elements consistent across the site.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00113 $0.02620
Opus 5.5 $0.00045 $0.01048
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00023 $0.00524
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00262

Security

Grade A, and why

design-system scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Dark Professional Design System for Report Websites

Apply a distinctive dark professional visual identity to generated research report websites using Tailwind CSS v4 + shadcn/ui. This design system creates sites that feel like a premium data terminal crossed with a high-end law publication — dense with information yet elegant and readable.

Design Philosophy

Tone: Sophisticated, authoritative, data-rich. Think Bloomberg Terminal meets The Economist's digital edition.

Differentiation: The signature element is the warm amber accent system against deep cool backgrounds — every interactive element glows with intention. Typography pairs a refined serif display face with a crisp humanist sans-serif body, creating tension between editorial authority and modern clarity.

Theme System: Color accents are swappable via theme presets (8 built-in options) or community registries, while layout, typography, and animations remain consistent.

Color System

Colors are defined as Tailwind @theme tokens in app.css and can be overridden by theme preset CSS files. Use Tailwind utility classes for all color references — never hardcode color values.

Core Palette

bg-bg-primary → #0f1117 Deep space — main background
bg-bg-secondary → #161922 Elevated surface — cards, panels
bg-bg-tertiary → #1c1f2e Recessed areas — code blocks, inputs
bg-bg-hover → #232738 Hover state for interactive surfaces

text-text-primary → #e8e6e1 Warm white — body text
text-text-secondary → #9a9690 Muted warm — secondary text, labels
text-text-tertiary → #5e5a55 Dim — disabled text, timestamps

text-accent-primary → #d4a853 Amber gold — primary actions, highlights
text-accent-secondary → #2d9e8f Teal — secondary interactive elements
text-accent-tertiary → #6366f1 Indigo — links, tertiary actions

border-border-primary → #2a2d3a Subtle borders between sections
border-border-accent → rgba(212, 168, 83, 0.2) Amber border at 20% opacity

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
