Getting it into your agent
It runs from inside its repository, so the clone comes first — what it calls does not travel with the file alone.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00032 | $0.01918 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00016 | $0.00959 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00006 | $0.00384 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00192 |
Grade A, and why
linkedin-optimizer scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 106 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Overview
Audit and rewrite LinkedIn profile sections, grounded in the user's source work document and story bank. LinkedIn is a narrative — not a resume copy. It's where hiring managers go to understand how you think, what you care about, and whether you'd be a good fit culturally. The profile should tell a compelling story that complements your resume.
Workflow
State layer: writes a LinkedIn audit report to
reports/. No tracker touch. Reads from source work documents,story-bank.md, andproof-assets/as evidence sources. See state-layer contract.
1. Gather evidence
Primary sources (read in priority order):
my-documents/resume.mdormy-documents/cv.md— whichever exists (both if both)my-documents/story-bank.md— STAR+R stories for narrative materialmy-documents/proof-assets/— concrete case studies
See state-layer §8 for the evidence-priority rules.
Current LinkedIn state: ask the user to attach a PDF of their profile. To generate it: navigate to your own profile, click the ⋯ (three dots) button just below your profile header, then choose Save to PDF — the file downloads immediately. One file captures headline, about, all experience, education, skills, and certifications.
The PDF doesn't reliably capture a few audit-relevant items — ask separately:
- Banner image (default blue gradient or custom?)
- Custom URL (default numeric form or a clean firstname-lastname?)
- Open-to-Work — on or off; if on, public (#OPENTOWORK badge) or recruiter-only?
- Featured section — what's pinned, if anything?
- Top-3 Skills — which 3 are pinned to the top (PDF skill order is unreliable)?
- Location — set to a city or "Remote + region"?
Fall back to paste (headline, about, experience descriptions, skills list, plus the items above) if the user can't or won't generate the PDF.
If source work documents are missing, warn the user — this skill works best grounded in saved evidence. Offer to run resume-builder first, or proceed on paste-only input knowing that evidence verification will be limited.
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

linkedin-optimizer is a skill published in the GitHub repository Remotivated/job-hunt-skills (9 stars, last pushed 19d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 32 tokens to every session and 1,918 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
