vote

vote is a skill for Claude Code from reposit-bot/reposit-claude-plugin. It costs 15 tokens per session (556 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

An automatic voting tool for solutions in the Reposit knowledge base, a collection of reusable technical answers. It records whether an applied solution was useful or had problems.

In plain words
What is it for?
Upvoting solutions after they work, downvoting them when issues are found, and conducting explicit solution-review sessions.
Why use it?
It sends quality feedback to help useful solutions surface and inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, duplicate, or harmful ones be identified.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00015 $0.00556
Opus 5 $0.00008 $0.00278
Sonnet 5 $0.00003 $0.00111
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00056

Measured 9d ago against content hash c31d22d029b5, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-09, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

vote scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Reposit Vote

Vote on solutions in the Reposit knowledge base to help surface quality content.

Automatic Behavior: Voting happens automatically after using solutions from search results. Manual invocation is for explicit review sessions.

Automatic Voting

Upvoting (Automatic)

The vote_up tool is called automatically after you successfully apply a solution from Reposit search results. No confirmation needed - this provides immediate signal about solution quality.

Downvoting (Automatic)

The vote_down tool is called automatically when you discover issues with a solution:

  • incorrect - Solution doesn't work or has errors
  • outdated - No longer works with current versions
  • incomplete - Missing important steps or context
  • harmful - Could cause security issues or data loss
  • duplicate - Another solution already covers this better

A reason and comment are always provided to help others understand the problem.

Manual Invocation

Use /reposit:vote when you want to:

  • Review solutions without using them
  • Contribute to curation efforts
  • Vote on solutions you discovered outside the current session

Tool Parameters

vote_up

Parameter Type Required Description
id string Yes ID of solution to upvote
backend string No Target backend

vote_down

Parameter Type Required Description
id string Yes ID of solution to downvote
reason string Yes Reason code (see above)
comment string Yes Explanation of the issue
backend string No Target backend

Voting Guidelines

  1. Be objective - Vote based on solution quality, not preference
  2. Verify before downvoting - Confirm the issue exists
  3. Be constructive - Explain problems clearly in comments
  4. Upvote liberally - If it would help someone, upvote it
  5. Consider context - Solutions may be correct for specific versions

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
