Configure Goose with MaaS (Remote LiteLLM) Provider

Set up Goose (CLI and Desktop) to use a remote MaaS endpoint — a shared LiteLLM instance that requires API key authentication (e.g., https://maas-rhdp.apps.maas.redhatworkshops.io).

  • A valid LiteLLM virtual key (starts with sk-) for the remote MaaS endpoint
  • The remote MaaS endpoint URL

Reference Configuration

The custom provider is defined as a JSON file under ~/.config/goose/custom_providers/ with a matching entry in ~/.config/goose/config.yaml.
