bundling-context

bundling-context is a skill for Claude Code from richfrem/agent-plugins-skills. It costs 25 tokens per session (681 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A tool for collecting selected code, documentation, and instructions into Markdown or ZIP bundles. These bundles can be sent to an AI chat, another coding agent, or an external reviewer.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create file bundles, prepare reviews with a persona prompt, split a monorepo into sections, or package material for several reviewers.
Why use it?
It reduces the effort of gathering the right project context and helps keep review or delegated tasks focused on the intended files.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00025 $0.00681
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00272
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00136
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00068

Security

Grade A, and why

bundling-context scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 4 executable files (scripts/bundle_zip.py, scripts/bundle.py, scripts/manifest_manager.py, …), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Bundling Context (bundling-context)

Compiles codebase files, documentation, and persona prompts into portable payloads for AI chat interfaces, sub-agents, or external review.

Contents

Critical Constraints

  1. Gitignored Storage: All manifests and bundles MUST be generated inside a gitignored temp/ subfolder (e.g. temp/bundles/). Never write payloads to repo root.
  2. First File Entry: For persona-driven reviews, prompt.md must be listed as the first file entry in the manifest.

Quick start

Generate a Markdown bundle from a file manifest:

python3 scripts/bundle.py --manifest temp/bundles/file-manifest.json --bundle temp/bundles/payload.md

Execution Modes

  1. Standard Bundle: Custom file/folder selection for general context sharing.
  2. Persona Review: Injects review persona prompts (prompt.md) ahead of codebase files.
  3. Monorepo Segmented: Domain-partitioned packaging (/skills, /agents, /scripts, /docs).
  4. Multi-Persona Fan-Out: Parallel packaging for the Graph Planning Fan-Out Trio (Architecture, Security, TDD).

Workflow

  1. Discovery: Select mode (Standard, Persona, Fan-Out), format (.md or .zip), and targets.
  2. Manifest Generation: Write file-manifest.json in temp/context-bundle-[name]/.
  3. Execute Compiler: Run scripts/bundle.py or scripts/bundle_zip.py to compile the payload.
  4. Handoff: Present generated payload path to user or dispatch to sub-agents.

Persona Template Library

Templates in assets/templates/:

  • structural-architecture-reviewer.md — C4 model, SOLID, interface abstraction.
  • adversarial-security-auditor.md — OWASP, injection vectors, exploit scenarios.
  • tdd-contract-reviewer.md — Test fixtures, assertion contracts, testability.
  • agent-task-delegator.md — Turnkey sub-agent handoffs with tool gates.
  • refactoring-quality-specialist.md — Complexity reduction and clean diffs.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

bundling-context is a skill published in the GitHub repository richfrem/agent-plugins-skills (7 stars, last pushed today), licensed MIT. It adds 25 tokens to every session and 681 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-24.
