amazon-s3-recipes is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from rkawaishi/workato-dev-kit. It costs 0 tokens per session (434 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of Workato recipe instructions for connecting workflows to Amazon S3, a cloud service for storing files. It lists supported file and bucket events and actions, plus the required connector names.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to trigger workflows when files change, upload or download files, copy or delete files, manage buckets, list files, and create temporary file links.
Why use it?
It helps avoid invalid recipe steps and connector settings when automating file storage tasks in Amazon S3.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00434
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00217
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00087
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00043

Security

Grade A, and why

amazon-s3-recipes scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Amazon S3 recipes

Provider value to use in every step: amazon_s3

This skill extends the base workato-recipes skill. Read that first for recipe JSON structure, datapill syntax, and control flow; this document only covers what is specific to this connector.

Before you generate

  • Set "provider": "amazon_s3" on every step that uses this connector.
  • Use only the internal names listed below. They are the same list lint-rules.json enforces, so anything else fails wk lint.
  • Reach for __adhoc_http_action only when no native operation covers the call.

Triggers (4)

Internal name Title Batch
new_CSV_file New CSV file -
new_file New file -
new_file_slice New file slice -
new_updated_file New/updated file or folder -

Actions (9)

Internal name Title Batch
__adhoc_http_action Custom action -
copy_object Copy file -
create_bucket Create bucket -
delete_bucket Delete bucket -
delete_file Delete file/folder -
generate_presigned_url Generate presigned URL -
get_file Download file contents -
list_bucket List files in bucket yes
upload_file Upload file -

Deprecated -- do not generate

Workato still executes these in existing recipes, but new recipes must not use them. They are excluded from valid_action_names.

Actions

Internal name Title Batch
upload_file_streaming Upload file (streaming) -

Validation

wk lint <recipe>.recipe.json --skills-path <path-to>/skills

What ships with it

2 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
