omh-routing

omh-routing is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from rlaope/oh-my-hermes. It costs 20 tokens per session (2,687 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A router for choosing the right Hermes workflow from a request or workflow keyword. Hermes is an environment for running structured coding and research workflows.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to direct requests such as research, code review, browser work, accessibility checks, or debugging to the matching workflow.
Why use it?
It reduces the chance of sending a request to a workflow that lacks the right scope or evidence requirements.

About the project

oh-my-hermes is an operating layer for Hermes Agent that organizes requests into workflows for planning, research, creation, coding handoffs, operations, and project memory. Hermes users run these workflows through the desktop app, CLI, or messenger app, while the catalogue add-ons extend its native capabilities.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00020 $0.02687
Opus 5 $0.00010 $0.01344
Sonnet 5 $0.00004 $0.00537
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00269

Security

Grade A, and why

omh-routing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Oh My Hermes Router

Reasoning demand: light

Use this skill when the user mentions oh-my-hermes or a workflow keyword such as deep-interview, ultraperf, ralplan, loop, product-docs, research, research-department, source-finder, paper-learning, data-analysis, command-operator, connector-operator, live-info-operator, external-connector-readiness, physical-device-readiness, content-operator, media-input-operator, feedback-triage, finance-analysis, people-ops, legal-compliance-review, support-operations, curriculum-design, localization-review, sales-development, product-brief, materials-package, img-summary, design-quality-gate, frontend, accessibility-audit, visual-qa, browser-operator, workspace-file-operator, automation-blueprint, harness-session-inventory, agent-debug, failure-signal-audit, instinct-ledger, skill-scout, skill-health, workflow-learning, codebase-onboarding, codegraph-refresh, codebase-uml, context-budget-review, run-efficiency, provider-profile-posture, decision-recall, security-safety-review, code-review, build-failure-triage, ultrawork, ultraqa, doctor.

Routing Contract

This is best-effort Hermes prompt guidance. It does not override Hermes core routing and it does not claim exact runtime parity with another agent framework.

Normal users should talk to Hermes Agent or invoke installed Hermes skills. Do not ask chat users to run omh; it is bootstrap and backend infrastructure.

Why This Exists

oh-my-hermes exists to keep Hermes chat routing conservative: it maps plain requests to the right workflow, explains evidence boundaries, and avoids making every keyword look like hidden implementation.

Do Not Use When

  • The user already invoked a more specific installed skill and its routing signals are unambiguous.
  • The message is ordinary chat, status acknowledgement, or a question that does not need workflow routing.
  • The wrapper wants to claim execution, review, CI, or merge evidence that no observed artifact provides.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
