dryui-build

dryui-build is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from rob-balfre/dryui. It costs 44 tokens per session (1,942 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A set of instructions for building a mobile-first DryUI page from a design image. It uses fixed responsive regions such as a top bar, navigation, primary content, and a secondary panel.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to recreate dashboard, settings, customer-management, kanban, or knowledge pages from mockups for mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Why use it?
It keeps the page usable on small screens while preserving a consistent app structure. A required build step checks that the implementation is valid.

Getting it into your agent

One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00044 $0.01942
Opus 5 $0.00022 $0.00971
Sonnet 5 $0.00009 $0.00388
Haiku 4.5 $0.00004 $0.00194

Security

Grade A, and why

dryui-build scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

DryUI Page Layout: Mobile Compact Fixture

Build the supplied design image as a finished DryUI app page. Optimize for a clean build, lint-safe layout, and responsive shell fidelity before visual embellishment.

Harness Rule

Run bun run build before final. Do not run dev servers, browser checks, extra audits, or broad package searches. The harness captures mobile, tablet, and desktop after you finish.

Stage 1: Pick One Recipe

Identify the page as one of these recipes and keep the fixed shell:

  • dashboard: metrics in primary, chart/table panels below, activity in secondary.
  • settings: nav in navigation, form/status panels in primary, help/activity in secondary.
  • crm: pipeline/list panels in primary, deal summary in secondary.
  • kanban: board columns in primary, project health in secondary.
  • knowledge: documents/search/results in primary, source summary in secondary.

Use this shell exactly:

<main data-layout="app-shell">
	<div data-layout-area="page">
		<header data-layout-area="topbar">...</header>
		<nav data-layout-area="navigation">...</nav>
		<section data-layout-area="primary">...</section>
		<aside data-layout-area="secondary">...</aside>
	</div>
</main>

Stage 2: Build With Safe Elements

Use these imports only unless build reports a missing import:

import {Badge} from '@dryui/ui/badge'; import {Button} from '@dryui/ui/button'; import {Heading} from
'@dryui/ui/heading'; import {Image} from '@dryui/ui/image'; import {Input} from '@dryui/ui/input'; import
{Link} from '@dryui/ui/link'; import {Separator} from '@dryui/ui/separator'; import {Table} from '@dryui/ui/table';
import {Text} from '@dryui/ui/text';

Do not use raw text/media/link elements: no <p>, <span>, <strong>, <img>, <a>, <ul>, or <li>. Use Heading, Text, Image, Link, Button, Badge, and Table.

Raw structural elements are allowed only when they have data-layout or data-layout-area and that layout name exists in src/layout.css.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
