design-system

design-system is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Robdel12/OrbitDock. It costs 139 tokens per session (2,212 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

OrbitDock's visual design system: a shared set of colors, spacing, text sizes, shapes, shadows, motion, and component patterns. OrbitDock is an app for monitoring and coordinating coding agents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when designing or implementing OrbitDock screens, controls, cards, badges, banners, and other interface components.
Why use it?
It keeps interfaces consistent and makes status, urgency, and required actions easy to distinguish.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00139 $0.02212
Opus 5 $0.00069 $0.01106
Sonnet 5 $0.00028 $0.00442
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00221

Measured 3d ago against content hash 47a2e8c538c8, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-08-30, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

design-system scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Cosmic Harbor Design System

This skill provides the design language and token system for all OrbitDock UI work.

Core Principles

  1. Mission Control, Not a Toy — Aerospace control room density. Zero ambiguity about what needs attention. Space theme expressed through color and light, never decorative illustration.
  2. Calm Density — Information-dense without being overwhelming. Dark backgrounds recede, content floats forward, color is semantic only.
  3. Status at a Glance — "What needs my attention?" answered in <1 second. Brightness = urgency.
  4. Platform-Native, Visually Unified — Same tokens and identity everywhere. Different interaction ergonomics per platform.

Visual Identity

Derived from the app icon: light on dark, motion within structure, a harbor for things in flight.

  • The Orbit — Cyan accent (#54AEE5) is the signature brand motif: links, active states, working status, code types
  • Color Temperature — Warm charcoal with indigo undertones (not pure gray) prevents eye fatigue
  • Light as Information — On a dark canvas, the brightest elements are always the ones that need action

Token Quick Reference

Status Colors (The Five States)

State Color Hex Icon Urgent?
Working Cyan #54AEE5 bolt.fill No
Permission Coral #F28C6B lock.fill Yes
Question Purple #BF80F2 questionmark.bubble.fill Yes
Reply Soft blue #73B2FF bubble.left No
Ended Warm gray #6B6673 moon.fill No

Background Depth (darkest to lightest)

Text Hierarchy

Token Opacity Usage
textPrimary 0.92 Headings, session names
textSecondary 0.65 Labels, descriptions
textTertiary 0.50 Timestamps, counts
textQuaternary 0.38 Hints, lowest priority

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

design-system is a skill published in the GitHub repository Robdel12/OrbitDock (95 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 139 tokens to every session and 2,212 once invoked, about $0.0007 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
