rea-ci-tests-audit

rea-ci-tests-audit is a skill for Codex, Cursor from roedyrustam/vibes-plug. It costs 47 tokens per session (2,284 once invoked), scanned A, a copy of rea-ci-tests-audit, MIT.

A procedure for auditing REA continuous-integration and test suites for outdated fixtures, tests that pass without detecting real failures, and unnecessary cost. Continuous integration automatically runs checks when code changes.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to inspect suite and workflow behavior, establish a recorded baseline, check changed-path selection and triggers, measure costs, and recommend or make verified fixes.
Why use it?
It separates tests that provide real regression protection from tests that are stale, misleading, or expensive without useful coverage.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00047 $0.02284
Opus 5.5 $0.00019 $0.00914
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00457
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00228

Security

Grade A, and why

rea-ci-tests-audit scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured yesterday.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

REA CI and tests audit

Establish which checks still catch real regressions and which costs can be removed without losing that protection. The outcome may be a verified fix, an evidence-backed recommendation, or an explicit decision to stop.

Follow the checkout's AGENTS.md, testing guide, and contribution rules. Use their current commands and pinned toolchain, rather than commands remembered from an earlier audit. Preserve the requested scope: investigation alone does not authorize edits; this skill does not grant permission to publish issues, push, or merge. Existing user authorization still applies. Keep audit notes and raw results outside the tracked tree, normally in a task-specific /tmp directory.

Establish the executed baseline

Fetch when the user asks for latest main. Pin the baseline SHA and inspected workflow revision; use an isolated worktree when changing or comparing code. Do not modify another task's checkout. Record dirty changes and the exact command, toolchain, host, selected tests, instrumentation, and prerequisites. An old run is evidence for its executed revision, even if main advances.

Trace workflow triggers, changed-path selection, job dependencies, reusable actions, package scripts, test discovery, artifact producers, and report gates through to the commands that actually execute. Include scripts, generated data, runtime registration, and subprocess boundaries missing from import graphs. Check positive and negative selection paths: required files must be discovered once per intended test configuration; deliberate platform/configuration repeats are separate coverage. A missing explicit test or missing required report must not turn green. Optional lanes may skip; preserve their stated prerequisites.

Use existing timing and failure artifacts to select suspicious families. Run relevant checks to establish a baseline; reserve a full local suite for broad CI diagnosis or uncertainty that focused checks cannot resolve. Do not rebuild or rerun an unchanged complete suite after every documentation edit.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
