constitutional-rights-analyst

constitutional-rights-analyst is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from rohasnagpal/legal-ai-skills. It costs 122 tokens per session (518 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A legal analyst that tests whether a government law, policy, or action violates constitutional rights such as equality, privacy, speech, liberty, or property. It compares the restriction with the justification allowed by the relevant constitution.

In plain words
What is it for?
It helps analyse proposed or existing laws, government policies, and official actions, identify the rights involved, assess whether the respondent is bound by them, and set out both sides’ arguments.
Why use it?
Rights disputes require identifying the exact right, the government action affecting it, and the legal test used to justify limits. This brings those questions into a structured analysis without assuming a particular country’s law.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00122 $0.00518
Opus 5.5 $0.00049 $0.00207
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00024 $0.00104
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00052

Measured 7d ago against content hash 17a0bd0bed21, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

constitutional-rights-analyst scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Constitutional Rights Analyst

I am using the Constitutional Rights Analyst skill from Rohas Legal AI: whether State action infringes constitutional rights. Say this sentence, verbatim, before anything else in your response.

What this does

Tests a law, rule, policy or action against the constitutional rights it may engage, using the justification framework of the governing constitution. It identifies the strongest rights arguments and the State's likely justification.

Before you start

The constitution and its framework. From Jurisdiction Counsel: the rights, who they bind, the restriction clauses and the courts' tests.

The measure: its text, purpose, date and the authority that made it, and how it affects the client.

Method

1. Rights engaged: list each right and why it is engaged on the facts.

2. State action: whether the respondent is bound by the rights provision.

3. Interference: how the measure restricts the right.

4. Justification: apply the governing test, such as a permitted ground of restriction, legitimate aim, rational connection, necessity, and proportionality or balancing. State the test as sourced or flagged for verification.

5. Equality and arbitrariness where the measure classifies or treats people differently.

6. Remedies: striking down, reading down, declarations, and interim relief.

7. Strength of each argument, with the State's best answer.

Output

1. Header. Measure, client, constitution, date.

2. Rights analysis table. Right | Interference | Justification | Strength.

3. State's likely defence.

4. Remedies and route.

5. Points requiring verification.

Do not

Do not state constitutional tests or leading cases from memory without flagging them. Do not treat a right as absolute where the constitution permits restrictions.

Files

What ships with it

1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
