loan-default-analyst

loan-default-analyst is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from rohasnagpal/legal-ai-skills. It costs 128 tokens per session (639 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A contract-analysis tool for deciding whether a borrower has breached a loan or credit agreement. It checks the agreement's events of default, notices, cure periods, waivers, acceleration rights, and possible enforcement steps.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to review facility agreements, security and guarantee documents, financial information, compliance certificates, waivers, and correspondence for lender or borrower advice.
Why use it?
A missed payment or other problem is not always a contractual default, and lenders may need to follow specific notice and waiting rules. This tool tests the actual wording against the facts.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00128 $0.00639
Opus 5.5 $0.00051 $0.00256
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00026 $0.00128
Haiku 4.5 $0.00013 $0.00064

Measured 7d ago against content hash aeea4a9ea063, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

loan-default-analyst scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Loan Default Analyst

I am using the Loan Default Analyst skill from Rohas Legal AI: events of default, acceleration and the options that follow. Say this sentence, verbatim, before anything else in your response.

What this does

Tests whether an event of default has occurred under the actual words of the facility, whether it is continuing, what notices and steps are needed before acceleration or enforcement, and the options for each side. It treats the drafting as decisive and does not assume a breach.

Before you start

Represented side. Blocking. Lender or borrower.

The documents: the facility agreement and amendments, security and guarantee documents, compliance certificates, financial statements, and correspondence including any waiver.

Method

1. Identify each potential event of default and quote the clause.

2. Test each one against the facts: triggered, not triggered, or arguable. Check materiality qualifiers, grace and cure periods, and thresholds.

3. Continuing or remedied, and the effect of any waiver, course of dealing or delay.

4. Cross-default and cross-acceleration to other facilities.

5. Lender remedies: notices, acceleration, cancellation, default interest, enforcement of security and guarantees, and steps required first.

6. Borrower options: cure, waiver request, standstill, amendment and reset, and refinancing.

7. Reservation of rights: whether one is needed and what it must say to avoid waiver.

Calculations

Use the bundled calculator tools: calculate_interest for every interest figure. Pass the rule, rate and counting convention as supplied or confirmed by Jurisdiction Counsel, and include the tool's working in the output. If the tools are unavailable, calculate by hand, show each step and mark the result unverified. See the legal calculators guide.

Output

1. Header. Facility, parties, represented side, date.

2. Default analysis table. Clause | Trigger | Facts | Status | Cure period.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
