prd-reference

prd-reference is a skill for Claude Code from rossumai/claude-marketplace. It costs 54 tokens per session (666 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A reference guide for prd2, a command-line tool that manages Rossum.ai configurations between environments. It explains the required project structure, configuration files, deployment commands, and safety rules.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when pulling, editing, reviewing, or preparing Rossum.ai hooks, formulas, schemas, and deployments with prd2.
Why use it?
It helps avoid using the obsolete prd tool, editing generated files incorrectly, or changing remote environments without approval.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00054 $0.00666
Opus 5 $0.00027 $0.00333
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00133
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00067

Security

Grade A, and why

prd-reference scanned grade A with 1 finding against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

prd2 (Project Rossum Deploy) Reference

This skill provides a comprehensive reference for the prd2 deployment CLI used to manage Rossum.ai configurations across environments. For complete details, see reference.md.

IMPORTANT: Always use prd2 (v2). The original prd (v1) from the deployment-manager package is deprecated and should not be used. prd2 uses a different project structure, configuration format, and deployment model.

Safety Rules

Do not run prd2 push, prd2 deploy, or any Rossum write API call without explicit user approval. These commands modify remote environments. Always describe what you intend to push/deploy and wait for confirmation. prd2 pull (read-only) is fine without confirmation.

Edit local .py files, not JSON. When modifying hook code or formula logic, only edit the .py file. Never edit the code field in hook JSON or the formula property in schema.jsonprd2 push syncs .py files into JSON automatically.

Getting a token quickly

If prd2 complains about credentials, don't go hunting through ~/.prd2/credentials.yaml, ~/.config/prd2/, or find ~ — that path has burned multiple sessions. Instead, ask the user for a curl-style token string from the Rossum UI ("Settings → API access") and call the MCP tool rossum_set_token with it. That sets the in-process credentials and prd2 picks them up via the standard ROSSUM_* env vars without filesystem changes.

Only fall back to inspecting credentials files if rossum_set_token is unavailable or the user explicitly wants the token persisted.

Non-interactive push

prd2 push is interactive by default (asks for diff confirmation), which deadlocks in non-TTY contexts. Use:

prd2 push --indexed-only -f
  • --indexed-only limits the push to objects actually staged for change (much faster, much safer than a full push).
  • -f skips the confirmation prompt — only use this when you've already shown the diff to the user and they approved.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

prd-reference is a skill published in the GitHub repository rossumai/claude-marketplace (5 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 54 tokens to every session and 666 once invoked, about $0.0003 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 1 finding (makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
