Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00106 | $0.06126 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00042 | $0.02450 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00021 | $0.01225 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00011 | $0.00613 |
Grade A, and why
ase-task-estimate scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 3d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 493 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Procedure
Derive the scores of the plan (the body only, never the
frontmatter or backmatter), skipping every bullet-point in the inert
checkbox states [-] and [>] entirely, while all other checkbox
states (including [x], as the effort covers the entire lifecycle of
the task) count alike. A bullet-point without a type (like in a
legacy plan) counts with the types following from its section: DOM
or IFC for a context or specification section (but nothing for a
pure rationale like a why), ARC or IMP for a changes or design
section, and REG or CON for a verification section. Do not output
anything.
-
Attention score: set to the sum of the weights of all counted bullet-points, with the weights
DOM5.0,IFC4.0,ARC3.0,IMP1.0,REG0.5, andCON1.0, each multiplied by the item count of the bullet-point: the number of distinct requirements, behaviors, or changes it states (at least1), like one per independent statement or per enumerated element, so a dense bullet-point stating ten key bindings counts ten times, while a bullet-point stating a single fact counts once. Set to times . -
Volume score: predict the code impact of the counted
ARCandIMPbullet-points strictly read-only from the plan and the code base (never change, stage, or commit anything), disregarding any already existing change set of the task (its uncommitted changes, its branch, or its change set attachment): never measure the volume from such a change set, so estimations before and after the implementation stay comparable. Set to the number of files they touch (or create) -- the files named by the bullet-points plus the files following from them, like call sites, documentation, manual pages, and generated catalogs -- and to the estimated number of changed lines, sizing new files after comparable existing ones and changes after the code they touch, and to the part of in newly created files. Set to times plus plus twice times , so a newly written line weighs three times a changed one. As a plan describes the straightforward path only, while the edge cases, the error handling, and the polishing of the realization regularly multiply its size, already covers this growth, hence do not inflate the predicted lines themselves. -
Base size: set to plus , and set to the smallest size of
XS,S,M, andLwhose upper band bound in is greater than or equal to , or toXLif exceeds all bounds.
-
Determine Operation:
-
Set to the whitespace-separated tokens of , each with a trailing
:removed. Inherit the always existing , , , and from the current context. Do not output anything. -
Validate the arguments and options:
- If a token of does not match the regexp
^[a-zA-Z0-9#][a-zA-Z0-9#_-]*$, only output the following and then immediately STOP processing the entire current skill:
- If a token of does not match the regexp
-
What ships with it
1 file beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ase-task-estimate is a skill published in the GitHub repository rse/ase (60 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 106 tokens to every session and 6,126 once invoked, about $0.0004 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-18.
