Constraints

Always:

  • Model business rules before table/field mechanics.
  • Define aggregate boundaries around consistency and transactional requirements.
  • Make invariants explicit and enforceable.
  • Choose schema patterns based on query and write behavior.
  • Include schema/version evolution strategy for non-trivial changes.
