Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

Grade A, and why
echarts scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 7d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 71 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
echarts-mcp
Render Apache ECharts charts server-side (SVG + PNG + HTML, [email protected], stateless).
What this is for
This MCP server renders static charts for an LLM to inspect and iterate on. It produces
SVG and PNG and a self-contained interactive HTML page (using a pinned client
echarts CDN build fed the same option). The option JSON is identical between SSR and
the browser, so it can also drive a fully live client-side chart.
Available tools
render_echart
Renders an ECharts option to one or more output formats. Returns the artifact(s) AND the echoed option.
option(required) — a full ECharts v6 option object, passed through unchanged.formats—["svg"](default), or any subset/combination of"svg","png","html"."svg"→ raw SVG text (zero native deps)."png"→ base64 PNG image (needs the optional@napi-rs/canvasdependency)."html"→ a self-contained interactive HTML page.
width/height— logical pixels (default 800×500).devicePixelRatio— DPI multiplier for PNG (default 2).theme— built-in name ("light","dark") or an inline JSON theme object.background—"transparent"(default) or any CSS color.animation—false(default) for deterministic output.exportToUrl— persist the artifact and return a public URL (needsMCP_EXPORT_DIR+MCP_EXPORT_BASE_URL).
Example option:
{
"xAxis": { "type": "category", "data": ["Mon", "Tue", "Wed"] },
"yAxis": { "type": "value" },
"series": [{ "type": "line", "data": [120, 200, 150], "smooth": true }]
}
validate_echart_option
Dry-run validate an option before rendering. Returns structural errors and semantic warnings (pinned to [email protected]) without producing an image.
list_chart_types
List common series types (line, bar, pie, scatter, sankey, …) for discoverability.
Not an allowlist — render_echart accepts any ECharts v6 option.
Security notes
- Remote images are disabled by default (SSRF). A PNG
optionthat references animage://https://…URL is rejected unless the host is allowlisted viaMCP_IMAGE_ALLOW_HOSTS(comma-separated exact hostnames). Inlinedata:images work. option/themeare bounded (depth ≤ 64, ≤ 100k nodes); pathological inputs fail fast rather than degrading the local process.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

echarts is a skill published in the GitHub repository ryuk3nd0/echarts-mcp (0 stars, last pushed 20d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 97 tokens to every session and 810 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
