ox: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/ox-recap/SKILL.md

ox-recap is a skill for Claude Code from sageox/ox. It costs 135 tokens per session (516 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A skill for answering whether SageOx has been useful by examining recorded evidence from recent work. SageOx is a tool that records repository and agent activity for team context.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when asking what SageOx has done, whether it is worth keeping, or what value it provided over a chosen period or for a particular user.
Why use it?
It replaces vague claims about value with specific receipts, such as artifact paths, session names, plans, or commit identifiers.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00135 $0.00516
Opus 5 $0.00068 $0.00258
Sonnet 5 $0.00027 $0.00103
Haiku 4.5 $0.00014 $0.00052

Security

Grade A, and why

ox-recap scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Use when

The user asks about SageOx's value, ROI, or whether it's worth keeping: "what value am I getting from SageOx", "is SageOx worth it", "what has SageOx done for me", "what's this actually doing for me", or "ox recap".

Do

  1. Run ox recap --json (add --since <window> or --user <name> only if the user asked for a scope other than the default last 30 days).
  2. Narrate the answer by following the guidance string in the JSON output verbatim — it decides which value axis leads, enforces the honesty rules, and tells you how to ground every claim in a receipt (an artifact path, a session name, a plan slug, a commit SHA) from the bundle.
  3. If the bundle is thin or the ledger is empty, do not invent value — guidance already tells you how to frame that case: lead with next_actions and say plainly that value starts the moment they begin.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
