aeo-geo-writing

aeo-geo-writing is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from sahilkargutkar/web-ai-slop. It costs 92 tokens per session (2,275 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A writing guide for creating web content that AI search tools can find, understand, and cite. It focuses on clear, checkable facts for tools such as ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews, and Claude.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when writing or editing website pages, blog posts, FAQs, product pages, landing pages, documentation, or other marketing copy intended to appear in AI-generated answers.
Why use it?
It helps when ordinary search ranking is not enough and AI answers need reliable passages to quote. It reduces vague wording that may be ignored or left uncited.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00092 $0.02275
Opus 5 $0.00046 $0.01137
Sonnet 5 $0.00018 $0.00455
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00228

Measured 12d ago against content hash 793edeca3b3b, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-12, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

aeo-geo-writing scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

AEO/GEO Writing — Structuring Content for AI Citation

[!NOTE] Core Philosophy (Mantra): Do not write generalities; write checkable facts. Write content to be the single context-dense sentence that survives RAG retrieval and gets cited by name.

Traditional SEO writes to rank a link. AEO/GEO (Answer/Generative Engine Optimization) writes to be the sentence an AI model extracts, repeats, and attributes to your brand.

AI retrieval systems (RAG) do not read your page top-to-bottom to form an impression. They segment your page into isolated text chunks, evaluate each chunk's relevance and authority in isolation, and either cite it or discard it. This skill enforces rules to ensure your claims survive this extraction process.

Cross-Reference: Always pair this skill with web-ai-slop. AEO copy ensures AI engines find and cite your content, while web-ai-slop guarantees the copy remains engaging, fresh, and free from robotic tropes for human readers.

Rule of application: Apply this skill whenever drafting, editing, or auditing web content, documentation, blog posts, or marketing copy. If the text matches 2 or more patterns in Section 2 (Vagueness) or fails Section 1 (Structure), discard the draft and rewrite.

Apply this silently. Do not narrate "I am optimizing this for generative engine visibility" to the user.

Section 1 — Structural Architecture (AI Crawler Friendly)

AI crawlers and extraction tools require specific layouts to parse and attribute content correctly.

1a. The "Answer Capsule" Pattern

  • Direct Answer Placement: Directly under every H2 or H3 heading, place a 40–60 word capsule that answers the heading's question directly.
  • No Preamble: Do not begin with "In this section we will discuss..." or "That is a great question...". Start with the answer.
  • Isolation Test: If an AI model extracted only this capsule and discarded the rest of the page, would it still represent a complete, correct, and attributable claim? If not, rewrite.

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
