sfnext-theming

sfnext-theming is a skill for Claude Code from SalesforceCommerceCloud/b2c-developer-tooling. It costs 194 tokens per session (2,029 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A guide for changing the visual style of a Storefront Next online shop. It covers colors, fonts, logos, spacing shapes, shadows, headers, footers, hero images, and brand text, with checks for readable color contrast.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to apply a brand palette, adjust typography and components, update logos and icons, or check accessibility while changing the shop's appearance.
Why use it?
It keeps a rebrand or restyle organized in the shop's shared design settings instead of requiring separate changes throughout the interface.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00194 $0.02029
Opus 5.5 $0.00078 $0.00812
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00039 $0.00406
Haiku 4.5 $0.00019 $0.00203

Measured 15d ago against content hash 2e67b05dfe53, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-10-07, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

sfnext-theming scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 15d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Theming a Storefront Next Storefront

Your storefront has exactly one theme, in src/theme/, and it is yours to edit. Rebranding is mostly value changes in a few CSS files; components pick the new look up through token classes. Choose a starting look with sfnext create-storefront --vertical <id> (a starter theme) and then customize it as below.

Where things live

Concern File
Entry point and Tailwind @source scoping src/theme/index.css (imports shared.css, which sets import order)
Palette: background, foreground, primary, secondary, accent, muted, border, ring, destructive/success/warning/info src/theme/tokens/core.css
Shape: --ui-radius, --ui-shadow, --ui-border-width src/theme/tokens/core.css
Header, menu, footer, newsletter band, --header-logo-filter src/theme/tokens/header.css
Status and feedback colors src/theme/tokens/status.css
Swatches, sidebar, agentic UI, payment and cart extras, focus helpers tokens/swatch.css, sidebar.css, agentic.css, components.css, custom.css
--brand-* color primitives and hero scrims (--hero-overlay-*, --hero-scrim) src/theme/tokens/brand.css
Font stacks --font-sans/-serif/-mono; token-to-utility bridge src/theme/tailwind.css (@theme inline)
@font-face, base layer, .section-container, section-scoped shape rules src/theme/base.css
Component-level CSS (navigation, cart sheet, toasts, store locator) src/theme/overrides/*.css
Font binding and preload public/fonts/*.woff2, src/lib/fonts.ts (used by src/root.tsx)
Logo, favicon, hero and payment images public/images/, public/favicon.ico
Site name and brand strings src/locales/<locale>/translations.json (common.defaultSiteName)

Palette values are not all derived from brand.css: core.css sets --primary and friends directly, so change them there. Token-to-class wiring and the full token file list are covered in storefront-next:sfnext-components (token system reference).

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
