auth-bypass

auth-bypass is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from sanjaysaini1952/BugBounty-Arsenal. It costs 0 tokens per session (821 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A security-testing procedure for checking whether an application’s login and password-reset protections can be bypassed.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to assess password-reset links, token handling, account-name matching, null-byte input, and whether the server trusts altered authentication responses.
Why use it?
It helps find weaknesses such as reusable, predictable, expired, or improperly checked reset tokens and login responses.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00821
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00411
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00164
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00082

Security

Grade A, and why

auth-bypass scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Authentication Bypass Hunting Skill — 17 Test Cases

Load when: auth bypass, login bypass, authentication, session management, password reset.

71. Password reset token prediction (medium)

Request password reset for a test account. Inspect the reset token. If predictable (sequential, timestamp-based, weak hash), forge tokens for other accounts.

Use a password reset link. After successful reset, try the same link again. Report if token is invalidated or still valid.

Request password reset and wait >24 hours. Try the expired link. Report if it still works or gives a meaningful error.

74. Auth bypass via response manipulation (medium)

After failed login, manipulate response: {"success": false, "isAdmin": false}{"success": true, "isAdmin": true}. Report if server trusts client-side response.

75. Auth bypass via case sensitivity (easy)

Test login with email variations: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected]. Report if case-insensitive comparison bypasses checks.

76. Auth bypass via null bytes (easy)

Add null bytes to username/password: admin%00, admin\x00. Report if null byte truncation bypasses validation.

77. Auth bypass via JSON type confusion (medium)

Send {"username": ["admin"], "password": "pass"} or {"username": {"$ne": ""}}. Report if type juggling bypasses checks.

78. Session fixation (medium)

Set session cookie before login. Login successfully. Report if same session ID persists or if new session is issued.

79. JWT alg:none bypass (easy)

If app uses JWT, decode token, change alg to none, remove signature. Submit. Report if accepted.

80. JWT key confusion (medium)

If app uses RS256, try forging JWT with HMAC using the public key (RS256→HS256 confusion).

81. Session token in URL (easy)

Check if session tokens appear in URLs, Referer headers, or log files. Report token leakage vectors.

82. Auth bypass via redirect (medium)

After login, check redirect URL. Try ?next=/admin, ?returnUrl=/admin. Report if authorization checks are skipped on redirected pages.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

auth-bypass is a skill published in the GitHub repository sanjaysaini1952/BugBounty-Arsenal (2 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 821 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
