SAP/ai-skills-library is a catalogue for discovering, filtering, and installing AI skills that support SAP digital assistants. SAP users and contributors can install listed skills with the skills CLI across compatible coding agents, while skill authors keep their implementations in their own public repositories and register them with the library. The catalogue contains five of the library's skills and its plugin.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00246 | $0.02186 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00098 | $0.00874 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00049 | $0.00437 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00025 | $0.00219 |
Grade A, and why
aicore-sdk-js scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 147 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Rules
- If no deployment URL is known, check the SAP AI Core console or contact your admin to list or create one before generating code.
- Always include
aicore configurecredential guidance in generated code comments; link to Connecting to AI Core for setup details. - JS/TS lifecycle management (create/list/delete deployments) is not available in this skill — use the SAP AI Core console or contact your admin for deployment management.
- Target
@sap-ai-sdkv2 (orchestration2.14+). The preferred invocation pattern is passingmessagesdirectly tochatCompletion()/stream(). Only usepromptTemplating.prompt.templatewith{{?placeholder}}values when the user explicitly wants a server-side reusable template. Never emit the v1 shapellm: { model_name }/templating: { template }— it does not compile against v2. - Never emit Python code snippets — this skill is JS/TS only. If the user asks for Python, inform them that no Python skill is available in this repo and point them to https://sap.github.io/ai-sdk/ for Python SDK guidance.
- Gather these details before generating code — ask only for what the user hasn't provided:
- Framework:
@sap-ai-sdk/*(recommended) /@sap-ai-sdk/langchain(LangChain) / OpenAI npm package via LiteLLM proxy? - Use case: chat / streaming / embeddings?
- Runtime: Node.js / Bun / browser?
- Model + Deployment ID: check the SAP AI Core console for existing deployments
- Model-switching intent (ask only when the user specifies an OpenAI model like gpt-4o, gpt-4.1, etc.): do they plan to switch models later (e.g. to Claude or Gemini)? If yes → recommend
@sap-ai-sdk/orchestrationfor portability. If they want to stay on OpenAI → use@sap-ai-sdk/openai(SapOpenAi.createClient) as the simpler native OpenAI SDK alternative; no LiteLLM proxy needed.
- Framework:
Sources & Fallback
Use the best source available, in this order. Never block on a source that isn't present.

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

aicore-sdk-js is a skill published in the GitHub repository SAP/ai-skills-library (89 stars, last pushed 2d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 246 tokens to every session and 2,186 once invoked, about $0.0010 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-23.
