sas-score-mcp-serverjs: Skill for Claude Code

.skills/skills/score-strategy/SKILL.md

score-strategy is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from sassoftware/sas-score-mcp-serverjs. It costs 31 tokens per session (422 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A routing guide for scoring requests in SAS Viya, a platform for analytics and machine learning. It identifies whether a request concerns a model, job, program, macro, or CAS object, then selects the matching scoring procedure.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it as the entry point for scoring MAS, SCR, Job, JobDef, SAS program, macro, CAS program, or CAS model requests.
Why use it?
It prevents scoring work from being sent to the wrong procedure when different SAS object types use different methods.

This is sassoftware/sas-score-mcp-serverjs's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on sas-score-mcp-serverjs itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00031 $0.00422
Opus 5 $0.00015 $0.00211
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00084
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00042

Measured 8d ago against content hash ba505e7aa768, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

score-strategy scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Score Strategy (Router)

Step 1 — Identify model type

Use the a.b notation rule from request-routing:

Suffix b Model type Skill to use
.mas or (no suffix — default) MAS score-mas-scr
.scr SCR score-mas-scr
.job Job score-job-jobdef
.jobdef JobDef score-job-jobdef
.sas SAS Program score-program
.casl CAS Program (inline src) score-cas
CAS model table (lib.table form, no recognized suffix) + user says "cas model" CAS Model score-cas
Macro name (no . suffix) Macro score-program

Step 2 — Delegate

Load the appropriate skill and follow its workflow:

  • MAS / SCRscore-mas-scr skill
  • Job / JobDefscore-job-jobdef skill
  • SAS Program / Macroscore-program skill
  • CAS Program / CAS Modelscore-cas skill

Model Type from a.b Notation

Short form: if b ∈ {mas, job, jobdef, scr, sas, casl} → model type suffix; anything else → table reference. Default (no suffix) → MAS.

CAS disambiguation: if the user explicitly says "cas model" or "casmodel" with a lib.table reference (no .casl suffix), route to score-cas with casmodel param instead of the MAS default.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
