What is azure-eventhub-py?

A Python client library for Azure Event Hubs, a service for sending and reading large streams of events. It provides producer and consumer clients, with optional checkpointing to record reading progress.

Use it to build Python producers and consumers for telemetry, logs, or other continuously arriving data. Checkpointing helps consumers resume from their previous position.

It handles the connection details for high-volume event ingestion, so applications can send and process streaming data without implementing that transport themselves.
