Nodel Platform Development
For working on the Nodel source tree (github.com/museumsvictoria/nodel).
Three Gradle modules (settings.gradle):

Other top-level directories (nodel-framework-dotnet, nodel-windows, etc.) are
not part of the Gradle build.
Building
Requires JDK 11+ on PATH; always build through the wrapper (./gradlew —
currently Gradle 8.14.5, pinned in gradle/wrapper/gradle-wrapper.properties).

The runnable fat JAR lands in nodel-jyhost/build/distributions/standalone/ as
nodelhost-<branch>-<version>-rev<N>.jar. The first build downloads Node.js
and npm packages for the web UI.
The web UI is Grunt-built and ships inside the JAR as classpath resource
org/nodel/host/content.zip — so a UI change means rebuilding
nodel-webui-js, not just nodel-jyhost. Pipeline details:

Running a dev host

./gradlew :nodel-jyhost:runalso works, but littersnodel-jyhost/with runtime dirs since the module dir is its cwd.
Testing
JUnit 5 + Playwright tests in nodel-jyhost/src/test/java/org/nodel/. Gradle
starts a real nodelhost on port 18085 in nodel-jyhost/nodelhost-temp/;
on failure, read output.log and error.log there first.
What ships with it
6 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
