Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00251 | $0.03075 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00100 | $0.01230 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00050 | $0.00615 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00025 | $0.00308 |
Grade A, and why
scylladb-benchmark scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 109 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
ScyllaDB Cloud benchmark
If the task goes beyond this skill, use the parent scylladb skill for a ScyllaDB overview and the list of other ScyllaDB skills. If it is not installed, fetch it from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/scylladb/agent-skills/main/skills/scylladb/SKILL.md.
This skill creates a private ScyllaDB Cloud cluster and AWS loader VMs in a peered VPC, runs scylladb/cassandra-stress at fixed rates, and writes a report that another engineer can repeat. The most important rule: set a fixed rate with -rate threads=T fixed=N/s. A run without a fixed rate hides queueing delay (On Coordinated Omission).
Paths to scripts/ are relative to the skill directory. Set SKILL_DIR to the skill directory before you run the commands in the references.
When to use this skill
- The user asks to benchmark or load test ScyllaDB Cloud, with or without the queries of their app
- The user asks for p50, p90, or p99 latency at a rate or a read/write ratio
- The user asks for the maximum rate under a latency SLA, or if a cluster size is enough
- The user wants to compare ScyllaDB with another database. Give advice only (comparison). Do not create or run the other database.
For adjacent topics, use the sibling skill instead:
- Driver settings and connection code for the application itself:
scylladb-cloud-setup - Schema review before you build the workload profile:
scylladb-data-modeling - Cluster management through the Cloud MCP server:
scylladb-cloud-mcp
Default recipe (fast path)
Use this recipe when the user gives no other shape or workload. It uses the most recent ScyllaDB release and scylladb/cassandra-stress:4.0.0 in us-east-1. The expected result comes from ScyllaDB 2026.3.3.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| Cluster | X Cloud, 3 × i4i.2xlarge, the largest AWS type with freeTier: true in the Cloud API instance list. Scaling pinned. |
| Loaders | 3 × c7i.8xlarge, one in each cluster AZ ID, rack=<AZ ID> |
| Data | 20,000,000 rows of the default standard1 row, split across the loaders |
| Workload | mixed ratio(write=1,read=1), cl=LOCAL_QUORUM, -pop dist=uniform(1..20000000) |
| Target | 220,000 ops/s in total: -rate threads=400 fixed=73333/s on each loader |
| Timing | Populate with 300 threads on each loader, 1 min warm-up, 1 measured run of 3 min. About 16 min from the cluster create request to the first result. |
| SLA | p99 ≤ 10 ms |
| Expected | 220,000 ops/s at p99 about 5 ms, 0 errors, loader CPU below 20%. |

What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

scylladb-benchmark is a skill published in the GitHub repository scylladb/agent-skills (7 stars, last pushed 3d ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 251 tokens to every session and 3,075 once invoked, about $0.0010 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-22.
