seed: Skill for Claude Code

.agents/skills/ui-evidence-bundle/SKILL.md

ui-evidence-bundle is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from seed-hypermedia/seed. It costs 0 tokens per session (306 once invoked), scanned A, original, Apache-2.0.

A tool that packages selected files from a completed, repeatable user-interface test into a small ZIP record. It writes a JSON description and verifies the package, its source code version, file references, and contents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to record the repository, issue, source commit, tested screen, scenario, checks, result, and selected evidence files from a UI acceptance run.
Why use it?
It preserves a compact, inspectable record after large continuous-integration artifacts expire. Verification helps detect changed files, unsafe paths, missing references, or a mismatch with the recorded source version.

This is seed-hypermedia/seed's own configuration. It tells Claude Code and Codex how to work on seed itself, so it is not a mod to install elsewhere. Copy it as a starting point and replace the rules that are about this project. Everything seed configures →

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00306
Opus 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00122
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00000 $0.00061
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00031

Security

Grade A, and why

ui-evidence-bundle scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2d ago.

The scan reads SKILL.md. This mod also ships 2 executable files (scripts/test_ui_evidence_bundle.py, scripts/ui-evidence-bundle.py), listed below but not scanned — reading those needs a real analyzer, not pattern matching.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

UI evidence bundle

Use this skill after a deterministic UI acceptance run to preserve a small, inspectable record after large CI artifacts expire.

Contract

  1. Stage only the evidence files safe to preserve publicly.
  2. Write a JSON spec with exact repository, issue, 40-character source SHA, surface, scenario, verdict, checks, files, and optional exact-desktop build provenance.
  3. Run python .agents/skills/ui-evidence-bundle/scripts/ui-evidence-bundle.py create SPEC OUTPUT.zip.
  4. Publish selected files or the bundle to content-addressed storage separately, then record their ipfs:// or HTTPS URLs in the spec. This tool never handles credentials or publishes content.
  5. Before citing a bundle, run ... verify OUTPUT.zip and preserve the printed bundle SHA-256.

The byte-stable ZIP uses fixed metadata and stored members; verify with --expected-source-sha SHA when consuming evidence from another party. It contains canonical manifest.json, derived summary.md, and only explicitly staged evidence. Verification rejects source mismatches, dangling references, unsafe paths, undeclared members, and changed bytes. A valid bundle proves integrity and internal source consistency; it does not prove the acceptance assertion was well designed.

See references/ui-evidence-bundle.schema.json for the input shape. For packaged Electron, copy the provenance fields from an exact-desktop-artifact acquire result and set build.sourceSha to the same exact source SHA.

Files

What ships with it

3 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

ui-evidence-bundle is a skill published in the GitHub repository seed-hypermedia/seed (59 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 306 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-27.
