Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

What it costs to keep this loaded
Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00122 | $0.03241 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00049 | $0.01296 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00024 | $0.00648 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00324 |
Grade A, and why
cloud-native-storage-strategy scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 291 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Cloud-Native Storage Strategy
Purpose
Storage decisions compound: the wrong storage class silently inflates cost every month, a bucket/container left with default-permissive access becomes a headline data breach, and a lifecycle policy applied without understanding retrieval patterns can turn "save money" into "delete data we needed." This skill covers choosing the right storage primitive (object, block, file) for the workload, applying encryption and access-control defaults that are safe out of the box, and designing lifecycle/tiering policies that reduce cost without silently increasing retrieval latency or cost for data that's actually still needed regularly.
When to use
- Choosing between object storage (S3/Blob/GCS), block storage (EBS/ Managed Disks/Persistent Disk), and file storage (EFS/Azure Files/ Filestore) for a new workload.
- Designing or auditing bucket/container/storage-account access controls and encryption defaults.
- Setting up lifecycle policies to move data between storage tiers (hot/cool/cold/archive) based on access patterns.
- Investigating unexpectedly high storage costs or unexpectedly slow/ expensive data retrieval.
- Responding to a security finding like "publicly accessible storage bucket" or "storage account without encryption enforced."
- Planning storage for a new data pipeline, backup target, or static content/CDN origin.
Prerequisites & environment
- Clarity on the workload's actual access pattern before choosing a
storage class: how often is data read/written, how quickly must a read
return (milliseconds vs. minutes-to-hours for archive tiers), and how
long must data be retained (see
disaster-recovery-and-backup-strategyfor retention/backup-specific concerns, which overlap but are not identical to lifecycle tiering). - Cloud CLI/Terraform access appropriate to the storage service:
Terraform ≥ 1.5 with
aws/azurerm/googleproviders ≥ their current major version for lifecycle and encryption resources. - The account/subscription/project's landing-zone guardrails already in
place (e.g. an SCP/Organization Policy/Azure Policy that blocks public
bucket ACLs by default) — storage security should be defense-in-depth,
not solely per-resource configuration; see the relevant
*-landing-zone-setupskill. - A key management strategy decided (cloud-managed keys vs. customer-managed keys in AWS KMS / Azure Key Vault / GCP Cloud KMS) — customer-managed keys add operational overhead (rotation, access policy) but are often required for regulated data.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

cloud-native-storage-strategy is a skill published in the GitHub repository selvarajmurugesan90/ops-engineering-skills (42 stars, last pushed 2mo ago), licensed Apache-2.0. It adds 122 tokens to every session and 3,241 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
