shadcn_ui-responsive

shadcn_ui-responsive is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from serverpod/skills-registry. It costs 67 tokens per session (460 once invoked), scanned A, original, BSD-3-Clause.

A guide to making Flutter interfaces adapt to different screen sizes using shadcn_ui breakpoints. Breakpoints are screen-width thresholds that let the layout change for tiny, small, medium, large, and larger screens.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check the current screen size, switch layouts at defined breakpoints, and build responsive shadcn_ui components with ShadResponsiveBuilder or context.breakpoint.
Why use it?
It helps prevent layouts from breaking when the same Flutter app runs on phones, tablets, or wider windows.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00067 $0.00460
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00230
Sonnet 5 $0.00013 $0.00092
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00046

Security

Grade A, and why

shadcn_ui-responsive scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 9d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

Shadcn UI — Responsive

Instructions

Responsiveness is built into shadcn_ui via ShadThemeData.breakpoints. Use ShadResponsiveBuilder or context.breakpoint to branch on the current breakpoint.

Default breakpoints

ShadThemeData(
  breakpoints: ShadBreakpoints(
    tn: 0,    // tiny
    sm: 640,  // small
    md: 768,  // medium
    lg: 1024, // large
    xl: 1280, // extra large
    xxl: 1536, // extra extra large
  ),
);

Current breakpoint

With ShadResponsiveBuilder:

ShadResponsiveBuilder(
  builder: (context, breakpoint) {
    final sm = breakpoint >= ShadTheme.of(context).breakpoints.sm;
    // ...
  },
),

With context (equivalent):

final sm = context.breakpoint >= ShadTheme.of(context).breakpoints.sm;

Use >= so that e.g. "sm" applies to small and larger viewports (Tailwind-style). Use == only when you need to match a single breakpoint.

Sealed class switch

The breakpoint is a sealed type; you can switch on it:

ShadResponsiveBuilder(
  builder: (context, breakpoint) {
    return switch (breakpoint) {
      ShadBreakpointTN() => const Text('Tiny'),
      ShadBreakpointSM() => const Text('Small'),
      ShadBreakpointMD() => const Text('Medium'),
      ShadBreakpointLG() => const Text('Large'),
      ShadBreakpointXL() => const Text('Extra Large'),
      ShadBreakpointXXL() => const Text('Extra Extra Large'),
    };
  },
),
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
