handle-telegram-ads-review-and-declines

handle-telegram-ads-review-and-declines is a skill for Claude Code from sh0tn1k/telegram-ads. It costs 87 tokens per session (5,102 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A workflow for handling Telegram Ads moderation results, where Telegram reviews ads before they can run. It explains rejections, proposes policy-compliant rewrites, checks them again, and submits approved changes for another review.

In plain words
What is it for?
Reading rejection reasons, diagnosing repeated declines, rewriting ad text, re-validating drafts, resubmitting or editing ads, and confirming that an approved ad is active.
Why use it?
It turns an unclear rejection into a specific policy category and a next step. It also helps distinguish pending, rejected, limited, and active ad states.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00087 $0.05102
Opus 5 $0.00044 $0.02551
Sonnet 5 $0.00017 $0.01020
Haiku 4.5 $0.00009 $0.00510

Security

Grade A, and why

handle-telegram-ads-review-and-declines scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 11d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Handle Telegram Ads Review and Declines

Operational procedure for handling moderation outcomes on Telegram Ads. Two flows:

  1. Declined ad — read the rejection reason, classify the policy category, propose a rewrite, re-validate, and either re-submit (new ad) or edit_ad (existing ad) for re-review.
  2. Approved ad — verify the approval is reflected in the tool's view, confirm status: "active", and hand off to ongoing monitoring.

This skill is operational, not strategic. The actual creative direction comes from prepare-and-manage-tg-ads. This skill's job is to drive the tools, classify the rejection, surface the verbatim reason, and gate any submit / edit on the operator's approval.

When to Use

  • A create_ad call returned status: "declined" or an existing ad shows status: "rejected".
  • the operator asks "why was this ad rejected?" / "what's the policy reason?".
  • An ad is in moderation limbo (status: "pending_review") and the operator wants to know what to expect.
  • A live ad is status: "limited" (e.g. reach restricted) and the operator asks why.
  • The same draft has been declined twice — this skill is the right place to escalate the diagnosis.

When NOT to Use

  • The ad is status: "active" but underperforming → use the inspect_ad workflow and review-campaign-results for diagnosis.
  • The ad is being created for the first time → use create-telegram-ads-campaign-workflow.
  • Bulk-cleaning declined ads → that's a separate cleanup skill / decision.

Operating Discipline (mandatory)

  • Read-only tools (get_ad, get_rejection_info, explain_rejection, validate_ad) are SAFE_READ and need no approval.
  • Any submission to moderation (a fresh create_ad after rewrite, or edit_ad on an existing declined ad) requires the operator's approval per the standard flow in create-telegram-ads-campaign-workflow.
  • No manual browser fallback to read the rejection page. The typed tools expose the structured reason. If they fail, surface the failure, do not bypass.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
