Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00059 | $0.00782 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00024 | $0.00313 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00156 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00078 |
Grade A, and why
gitnexus-cli scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
This is a copy
81% identical to gitnexus-cli — 18 lines differ, which has more behind it and is treated as the original. This page carries a canonical link to it rather than competing with it.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 83 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
GitNexus CLI Commands
All commands work via npx — no global install required.
Commands
analyze — Build or refresh the index
npx gitnexus analyze
Run from the project root. This parses all source files, builds the knowledge graph, writes it to .gitnexus/, and generates CLAUDE.md / AGENTS.md context files.
| Flag | Effect |
|---|---|
--force |
Force full re-index even if up to date |
--embeddings |
Enable embedding generation for semantic search (off by default) |
When to run: First time in a project, after major code changes, or when gitnexus://repo/{name}/context reports the index is stale. In Claude Code, a PostToolUse hook runs analyze automatically after git commit and git merge, preserving embeddings if previously generated.
status — Check index freshness
npx gitnexus status
Shows whether the current repo has a GitNexus index, when it was last updated, and symbol/relationship counts. Use this to check if re-indexing is needed.
clean — Delete the index
npx gitnexus clean
Deletes the .gitnexus/ directory and unregisters the repo from the global registry. Use before re-indexing if the index is corrupt or after removing GitNexus from a project.
| Flag | Effect |
|---|---|
--force |
Skip confirmation prompt |
--all |
Clean all indexed repos, not just the current one |
wiki — Generate documentation from the graph
npx gitnexus wiki
Generates repository documentation from the knowledge graph using an LLM. Requires an API key (saved to ~/.gitnexus/config.json on first use).
| Flag | Effect |
|---|---|
--force |
Force full regeneration |
--model <model> |
LLM model (default: minimax/minimax-m2.5) |
--base-url <url> |
LLM API base URL |
--api-key <key> |
LLM API key |
--concurrency <n> |
Parallel LLM calls (default: 3) |
--gist |
Publish wiki as a public GitHub Gist |
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

gitnexus-cli is a skill published in the GitHub repository shenyuexin/mobile-e2e-mcp (3 stars, last pushed 4mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 59 tokens to every session and 782 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. It is 81% identical to gitnexus-cli, differing in 18 lines, and is treated as a copy.
