AAS Core is a local control plane for coding agents that lets them search a large catalogue of skills, choose a stack, validate it, and create a reproducible plan. It is used to assemble and review agent workflows through its CLI, local MCP server, catalogue, plugins, and Workbench. The catalogue add-ons provide the skills, plugins, bundles, and workflows that AAS Core helps agents select and validate.
Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00030 | $0.01909 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00012 | $0.00764 |
| Sonnet 5.5 | $0.00006 | $0.00382 |
| Haiku 4.5 | $0.00003 | $0.00191 |
Grade A, and why
altorank scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured today.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 156 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
AltoRank
AltoRank (https://altorank.co) is open-source SEO content software. Its tools
come from the altorank MCP server. You can audit whether search engines and
AI assistants can read a site, read an account, create drafts, move
planned keywords, edit a draft by find-and-replace, and pause or resume a
workspace. A person decides what publishes. There is no approve, hold or
delete tool and no tool that publishes a draft, and you must not look for a
way around that. The one publish-side tool, altorank_retry_publish, only
re-runs a failed publish of an article a person already approved.
When to Use
- Use when the user asks about SEO or AI-search (GEO) readiness of a site, Search Console numbers, keyword research, or drafting articles for their site with AltoRank.
- Use when the user wants missing JSON-LD proposed for a page, or a readiness report for any public domain.
- Requires an AltoRank account (hosted, or a self-hosted install) and the
altorankMCP server connected.
Connect once
If the altorank tools are missing, tell the user:
- Claude Code:
claude mcp add --transport http altorank https://app.altorank.co/api/mcp, then/mcp→ altorank → Authenticate (OAuth in the browser) - Claude Code plugin (bundles this skill and the server):
claude plugin marketplace add AltoRank/altorank, thenclaude plugin install altorank@altorank - Other MCP clients: add a Streamable HTTP server at
https://app.altorank.co/api/mcpand sign in with OAuth. Self-hosted installs use their own origin.
Two kinds of tools
- Any domain:
altorank_check_readiness,altorank_propose_schema,altorank_generate_machine_readable,altorank_readiness_report. Work on any public domain, not only the person's own sites. - Workspace tools: everything else. They act on the person's AltoRank
account. Write access is opt-in on the OAuth consent screen; a
forbiddenerror means they did not grant it.unauthorizedmeans the connection expired and the person has to reconnect.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

altorank is a skill published in the GitHub repository sickn33/agentic-awesome-skills (47,729 stars, last pushed yesterday), licensed MIT. It adds 30 tokens to every session and 1,909 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-10-17.
Other skills, from other repositories
keyword-research
Find low-competition keyword opportunities without paid tools (Ahrefs, Semrush). Runs real zero-dependency Python CLIs: Google Autocomplete discovery (with a-z long-tail expansion), semantic clustering, Bing volume lookup, and automated KGR opportunity scoring. Use when the user wants keyword ideas for a niche, asks…
competitor-gap
Find content competitors rank for that the user does not, by diffing sitemaps — no paid tool, no login. Turns the gap into a prioritized content opportunity matrix (cluster x score). Use when the user asks "what content is my competitor ranking for that I'm missing", "compare my site to COMPETITOR", "what should I…
keyword-difficulty
Estimate keyword difficulty from SERP structure — no Ahrefs subscription. Analyzes who actually ranks (homepage vs inner pages, platform ecosystems, brand-word fingerprints, winnable seat count) and outputs a difficulty verdict with an entry strategy. Use when the user asks "how hard is this keyword", "can I rank for…
search-intent
Classify search intent for keywords, two independent ways: keyword-based classification (informational / commercial / transactional / navigational, with question/buyer/problem markers) and SERP-based verification (what page types Google actually rewards). Cross-validated verdicts catch mismatches a single method…
geo-content-optimizer
A content-optimisation skill for improving how written material appears in search engines and AI search systems such as ChatGPT and Claude.
