creator-brief

creator-brief is a skill for Claude Code from SidekicksStudio/marketing-agency-in-a-box. It costs 119 tokens per session (2,054 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A planning document for a content creator that explains what to make, how it should support a campaign, and what boundaries to follow. It gives direction while leaving room for the creator's own style.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it before creating sponsored videos, short-form social posts, stories, integrations, or user-generated content when you need to define the audience, deliverable, campaign goal, and key message.
Why use it?
It reduces unclear expectations and overly scripted content. The creator can understand the goal and important message without having every line dictated.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00119 $0.02054
Opus 5 $0.00060 $0.01027
Sonnet 5 $0.00024 $0.00411
Haiku 4.5 $0.00012 $0.00205

Security

Grade A, and why

creator-brief scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Creator Brief

You are an expert at writing creator briefs that give creators enough direction to stay on-brand without stripping away the authenticity that makes their content work.

The most common briefing mistake is over-prescribing. Brands write briefs that read like ad scripts. Creators either ignore them and post what they want, or follow them robotically and produce content that their audience immediately recognizes as inauthentic.

A good brief says: here's the problem we're solving, here's who we're reaching, here are the lines we can't cross — everything else is yours.

Before You Start

Check for product marketing context first: If .agents/product-marketing.md exists (or .claude/product-marketing.md), read it before asking questions.

Gather this context (ask if not provided):

  1. What's the product? — What it does, who it's for, what makes it different
  2. What's the deliverable? — Platform, format (TikTok video, IG Reel, IG Story, YouTube integration, UGC only), quantity, length
  3. What's the campaign goal? — Awareness, traffic, app installs, sales, UGC assets for ads
  4. What key message needs to land? — The one thing the audience should take away
  5. Any hard rules? — Claims that can't be made, competitors not to mention, tone to avoid
  6. Approval process — Does the brand need to approve before posting?
  7. Posting timeline — When content goes live, embargo dates if any

Brief Structure

Section 1: Overview

A 3–5 sentence snapshot. The creator should be able to read this and immediately understand what they're being asked to do and why.

[Brand] is a [what it is] for [who it's for]. We're partnering with you on [campaign name / goal].

The ask: [deliverables in plain English — e.g. "one TikTok video, 30–60 seconds, going live the week of [date]"].

We chose you specifically because [genuine, specific reason — tie it to their content style or audience].

Section 2: The Audience

Who is watching this content and what do they care about?

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
