alert-combiner

alert-combiner is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Signal-Execution-Labs/forex-trading-ai-agent. It costs 0 tokens per session (533 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A guide for combining trading conditions into one alert using rules about prices, indicators, drawings, volume, time, and logical relationships.

In plain words
What is it for?
Defining alerts such as an indicator crossing with a volume change, filtering by trading sessions or days, and requiring all, any, or sequential conditions.
Why use it?
It avoids creating and checking many separate alerts when a notification should depend on several conditions together.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00000 $0.00533
Opus 5 $0.00000 $0.00267
Sonnet 5 $0.00000 $0.00107
Haiku 4.5 $0.00000 $0.00053

Security

Grade A, and why

alert-combiner scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 12d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Alert Combiner

Combine multiple conditions into powerful composite alerts.

Overview

Inspired by TradingView's ability to combine up to 5 alert settings, this skill creates sophisticated multi-condition alerts.

Condition Types

1. Price Conditions

  • Price crosses above/below level
  • Price enters/exits zone (rectangle)
  • Price % change in timeframe
  • Gap up/down detection

2. Indicator Conditions

  • RSI above/below level
  • MACD cross
  • Moving average cross
  • Bollinger Band touch/break
  • Custom indicator values

3. Drawing Conditions

  • Trendline break
  • Support/resistance zone touch
  • Fibonacci level hit
  • Horizontal line cross

4. Volume Conditions

  • Volume spike (X times average)
  • OBV divergence
  • Volume profile level test

5. Time Conditions

  • Market open/close
  • Session start/end
  • Custom time windows
  • Day of week filter

Logical Operators

AND - All conditions must be true
OR - Any condition can be true
NOT - Condition must be false
THEN - Sequential (A happens, then B within X bars)

Configuration

alertCombiner:
name: "Golden Cross + Volume + RSI"
  conditions:
    - type: "ma_cross"
      fast: 50
      slow: 200
      direction: "above"
    - operator: "AND"
    - type: "volume"
      comparison: "above"
      value: 2.0 # 2x average
    - operator: "AND"
    - type: "rsi"
      period: 14
      comparison: "below"
      value: 70
  actions:
    - alert: "telegram"
    - alert: "webhook"
    - autoTrade: false
  cooldown: 3600 # 1 hour between alerts

Watchlist Alerts

Apply one composite alert to entire watchlist:

  • Scan hundreds of symbols simultaneously
  • Trigger when ANY symbol matches
  • Include symbol name in alert

Actions

  • Push notification
  • Telegram/Discord message
  • Email
  • Webhook (for automation)
  • Auto-trade (optional)
  • Log to journal

Use Cases

  • "Alert me when BTC breaks $100k AND volume > 2x AND it's not overbought"
  • "Alert on any watchlist stock breaking 52-week high with volume"
  • "Alert when trendline breaks THEN RSI confirms within 3 bars"

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

alert-combiner is a skill published in the GitHub repository Signal-Execution-Labs/forex-trading-ai-agent (136 stars, last pushed 8d ago), licensed MIT. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 533 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
