reasflow-initializer

reasflow-initializer is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from sillyDaibo/reasflow-dev. It costs 99 tokens per session (1,096 once invoked), scanned D, original, MIT.

A setup guide for turning a folder or project into a reasflow project, including its local agents and research skills.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to initialize the current project, install reasflow locally, or understand how its research, survey, algorithm, and proof tools are added.
Why use it?
It checks for existing reasflow files before installation, reducing the chance of overwriting or conflicting with an existing setup.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5 $0.00099 $0.01096
Opus 5 $0.00049 $0.00548
Sonnet 5 $0.00020 $0.00219
Haiku 4.5 $0.00010 $0.00110

Security

Grade D, and why

reasflow-initializer scanned grade D with 3 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Reasflow Initializer

Goal

Initialize a target folder as a reasflow Codex project by running the reasflow-dev local installer from that folder.

Only this initializer skill should be installed globally by default. Full reasflow agents and private skills should be installed locally into a target project when the user asks to initialize that project.

Workflow

  1. Identify the target project root. If the user says "this folder" or "current project", use the current working directory.

  2. Check for existing reasflow files:

    find . -maxdepth 3 \( -path './.codex/config.toml' -o -path './.codex/agents' -o -path './.agents/skills' -o -path './.codex/reasflow-skills' \) -print

  3. If no conflicting reasflow targets exist, run the local installer from the target root.

    Unix/macOS or other bash-capable shells:

    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sillyDaibo/reasflow-dev/main/install.sh | bash

    Windows PowerShell / pwsh:

    $installer = Join-Path $env:TEMP "reasflow-dev-install.ps1"
    irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sillyDaibo/reasflow-dev/main/install.ps1 -OutFile $installer
pwsh -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File $installer

  4. If targets already exist and the user wants to refresh/replace them, run the same installer with force enabled.

    Unix/macOS or other bash-capable shells:

    curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sillyDaibo/reasflow-dev/main/install.sh | bash -s -- --force

    Windows PowerShell / pwsh:

    $installer = Join-Path $env:TEMP "reasflow-dev-install.ps1"
    irm https://raw.githubusercontent.com/sillyDaibo/reasflow-dev/main/install.ps1 -OutFile $installer
pwsh -NoProfile -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -File $installer -Force

  5. Tell the user to restart Codex in that project so .codex/config.toml, .codex/agents/, and .agents/skills/ are reloaded.

Codex does not hot reload project config, agents, or skills. Restarting Codex is the default and safest path after initialization.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

reasflow-initializer is a skill published in the GitHub repository sillyDaibo/reasflow-dev (2 stars, last pushed 9d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 99 tokens to every session and 1,096 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it D with 3 findings (downloads and executes remote code, reads agent configuration directories, makes network calls). No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
