Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00000 | $0.02239 |
| Opus 5.5 | $0.00000 | $0.00896 |

Grade A, and why
blackbox scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 5d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 170 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Intervention: blackbox (delivered through the Skillberry proxy)
An intervention answers how a candidate reaches the model under test — as opposed to a
capability, which is what gets edited. The two are independent: the same
skill-package capability can be delivered by writing files where a runner reads them
(intervention: direct) or by this intervention.
In blackbox mode:
benchmark runner
└── the agent's LLM call ──► SPA (host:7000) ──► Skillberry Store (host:8000)
│ (resolves ONE skill:
│ prose -> prompt enrichment,
│ scripts/ -> callable tools)
└──────────────► upstream LLM
other LLM calls (user simulator, judge, verifier) ──► upstream LLM, NEVER SPA
The agent gets no skill files, no mounted directory, no visible prompt edit — which is the shape Skillberry actually ships, so optimizing here optimizes the real thing.
Requirements from the benchmark
Two things must already be true of the runner, and this intervention checks rather than supplies them. Onboard a runner that lacks either and the data is wrong, not missing.
- The runner must be SPA-aware. Three integrations have to be present for blackbox mode to
produce correct data: Skillberry context headers on the agent's LLM calls, a merge of the
proxy-side trajectory into the runner's own, and a
disconnectat session end. A Skillberry-aware build carries them; a stock runner does not. - The benchmark must front its environment over HTTP. Store-hosted tools execute in the
store's process, not where the benchmark's state lives, so the skill's tools can only reach
that state through a service the benchmark provides. This intervention only health-checks it,
via
SPA_REMOTE_ENV_URL.
Inputs / outputs (manifest tokens)
needs: [], provides: [] — deliberately. An intervention owns an out-of-process delivery
stack, not a step in the run DAG, so it neither consumes nor produces a pipeline token. It is
selected by the spec (intervention: blackbox), not sequenced by orchestrate.
What ships with it
4 files beside SKILL.md in the same directory: the scripts, references and assets a skill reads on demand. Not counted in the per-session cost; read them before you install if any of them is executable.
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

blackbox is a skill published in the GitHub repository skillberry-ai/cap-evolve (65 stars, last pushed today), licensed Apache-2.0. It costs nothing until one of its globs matches a file; then it loads 2,239 tokens. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-25.
