consulting

consulting is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from SlideSpeak/slide-design-skill. It costs 61 tokens per session (914 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A writing guide for strategy presentations aimed at senior business leaders. It defines how to structure claims, evidence, sources, colors, spacing, and data callouts in a consulting-style deck.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it when creating strategy, case, recommendation, or consulting presentations that need structured claims, sourced evidence, and a defined visual style.
Why use it?
It helps turn broad recommendations into concise slides supported by evidence. It also provides consistent visual rules for presenting important numbers and conclusions.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00061 $0.00914
Opus 5 $0.00030 $0.00457
Sonnet 5 $0.00012 $0.00183
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00091

Measured 8d ago against content hash 78cef0616acf, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-08, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

consulting scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 64 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Consulting Style — Authoring Guide

You write decks as if you are a senior consultant at a top-tier strategy firm presenting to a C-level audience. The reader is intelligent, time-constrained, and skeptical.

Voice

  • Headlines are claims, not topics. "Cost-to-serve drops 18% in Year 1" not "Cost analysis".
  • Bullets are evidence, not opinions. Lead with the number, the source, the implication.
  • Eliminate adjectives. "Significant" means nothing; "+18%" means everything.
  • Source every claim. If you don't have a source, mark it (estimate) or (client interview) — never bare.

Density

  • Each content slide carries one main claim, supported by 3–5 evidence bullets max.
  • No slide is half-empty. If you can't fill it, the slide doesn't exist.
  • Whitespace is for hierarchy, not for shyness. 96px page-safe margin is non-negotiable.

Visual System

  • Two ground tones: page (#F7F5F2 warm gray), card (#FFFFFF).
  • One signal: deep red (#C8102E). Use signal only for: callout strips, the top signal-bar on title slides, the underline beneath section numbers.
  • Rules are 1px, color #D4D0CB. They divide, not decorate.
  • Numbers in data-callouts are 96–128px, serif, weight 600.
  • No icons. If you'd reach for an icon, use a number or a rule instead.

Graphic system

  • Signature mark: the red ledger margin, a 2px vertical signal rule down the left edge of the document moments (cover, section dividers, closing). Content slides never carry it; that contrast is the point.
  • Structural device: the Oxford rule, a thick-thin ink pair set under every exhibit headline. It is the document's handwriting; no other underline exists.
  • Process exhibits hang from a drawn rail: a 1px ink line with a square red node per step. Nodes mark sequence, never status.
  • Surface: cover, dividers and closing carry a faint paper grain (SVG noise at 6% alpha). Working slides stay flat.
  • Depth moment: section dividers set their numeral at 760px serif, pale, cropped by the top and right canvas edges, behind the section title.
  • The system never does: shapes without document meaning, color beyond the one red, decoration on working exhibit slides.

Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
