context-list

context-list is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from Snowflake-Labs/cocoplus. It costs 32 tokens per session (661 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command that reports the status of six CocoContext standards files, which define an organisation’s development rules and policies.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to check completion, view file dates and line counts, and identify the next recommended standard to create.
Why use it?
It shows which standards have been configured and which ones are still missing.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00032 $0.00661
Opus 5 $0.00016 $0.00331
Sonnet 5 $0.00006 $0.00132
Haiku 4.5 $0.00003 $0.00066

Measured 6d ago against content hash 38b3f2f7ffc1, method: parsed. Prices are Anthropic first-party input rates as of 2026-09-10, from the pricing page.

Security

Grade A, and why

context-list scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

How it starts

The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 74 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.

Your objective is to display a status table and completion dashboard for all CocoContext organizational standards files.

Pre-flight Check

Check that .cocoplus/ exists. If not: Output: "CocoPlus not initialized in this directory. Run $pod init to begin." Then stop.

Read File Status

For each of the six standard context files, check .cocoplus/context/<file>.md:

  • If exists: read line count and last-modified date
  • If absent: mark as "not created"

The six files:

  1. approved-models.md
  2. quality-thresholds.md
  3. pii-policy.md
  4. warehouse-policy.md
  5. naming-conventions.md
  6. governance-gates.md

Also check for any additional .md files in .cocoplus/context/ (custom entries added by the team) and include them in the table.

Compute completion:

  • Configured standards: number of the six standard files that exist and contain non-whitespace content
  • Total standards: 6
  • Recommended next standard: first missing high-priority standard in this order: pii-policy.md, governance-gates.md, quality-thresholds.md, approved-models.md, warehouse-policy.md, naming-conventions.md

Output

CocoContext Standards
Completion: 2/6 standards configured
Recommended next: pii-policy.md

Run `$context add` to create or update a standards file.
Run `$context view <name>` to read a file in full.

Replace example values with actual data from the filesystem.

Anti-Rationalization

Shortcut / Temptation Why It Fails
Only show files that exist Showing "not created" entries makes gaps visible — the point of the list is governance coverage awareness

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

context-list is a skill published in the GitHub repository Snowflake-Labs/cocoplus (720 stars, last pushed 7d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 32 tokens to every session and 661 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-09-03.
