migrate-endpoint-to-postman

migrate-endpoint-to-postman is a skill for Claude Code from sondang91/postman-mcp-server. It costs 56 tokens per session (3,417 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A command for copying documented .NET API endpoints into a Postman collection. Postman is a tool for sending requests to APIs and organizing them for testing.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it with API codes, controllers, or controller folders to extract eligible endpoints, enrich them from API specifications, and create matching Postman requests.
Why use it?
It avoids manually recreating requests and can skip endpoints that do not have the required API specification document.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00056 $0.03417
Opus 5 $0.00028 $0.01708
Sonnet 5 $0.00011 $0.00683
Haiku 4.5 $0.00006 $0.00342

Security

Grade A, and why

migrate-endpoint-to-postman scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Migrate Endpoint to Postman — /migrate-endpoint-to-postman $ARGUMENTS

Extract API endpoints and sync them to a Postman collection folder. Supports multiple input modes.

Input Modes

Mode 1: Single API Code

/migrate-endpoint-to-postman MM0046 --folder-id <id>
  • Find the controller containing this API Code
  • Extract only that endpoint from the controller
  • Read API Spec MM0046-API-*.md for enrichment
  • Create one Postman request

Mode 2: Multiple API Codes (comma-separated)

/migrate-endpoint-to-postman MM0046,MM0047,MM0048 --folder-id <id>
  • For each API Code: find controller, extract endpoint, read spec
  • May span multiple controllers — that's OK
  • Create one Postman request per API Code

Mode 3: Single Controller

/migrate-endpoint-to-postman src/backend/Feec.Master/src/Api/Controllers/V1/ConstructionsController.cs --folder-id <id>
  • Read controller, extract ALL endpoints with API Codes
  • Validate each has an API Spec (skip those without)
  • Create Postman requests for all qualified endpoints

Mode 4: Multiple Controllers (comma-separated)

/migrate-endpoint-to-postman ConstructionsController.cs,PaintedAreasController.cs --folder-id <id>
  • Short names auto-resolve: search src/backend/ for matching *Controller.cs
  • Process each controller independently (same as Mode 3 per controller)

Mode 5: Controller Folder (auto-detect all controllers)

/migrate-endpoint-to-postman src/backend/Feec.Master/src/Api/Controllers/V1/MasterManagement/ --folder-id <id>
  • Glob {folder}/*Controller.cs to find all controllers in the directory
  • Process each controller (same as Mode 3 per controller)
  • Ideal for batch migration of an entire API group (e.g., all Master Management APIs)
  • Shows total summary across all controllers at the end

Mode 6: Spec-only (API Code without controller)

/migrate-endpoint-to-postman MM0046 --folder-id <id> --spec-only
  • Read API Spec document directly (no controller needed)
  • Build Postman request entirely from spec (endpoint, params, body example)
  • Useful when controller doesn't exist yet or is in a different repo

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
