Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00068 $0.00832
Opus 5 $0.00034 $0.00416
Sonnet 5 $0.00014 $0.00166
Haiku 4.5 $0.00007 $0.00083

Security

Grade A, and why

configure-chapter-skip scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Chapter-Skip Playback

Shows can opt into chapter-skip playback: in the Spotify player, the skip forward/back buttons jump to the next/previous chapter instead of seeking 15 seconds. The setting is per-show and applies to all of the show's episodes.

In user-facing wording this is the skip-forward action, with two options:

  • 15 seconds — the default; nothing to configure
  • Next chapter — chapter-skip playback, enabled per the rules below

Invocation rule (hard requirement)

Next chapter must be explicitly requested by the user — "say the magic word." Trigger phrases:

  • skip-to-topic
  • skip-to-chapter
  • chapter skipping
  • chapter skip
  • or a clearly equivalent phrase

Do not enable it on your own initiative, offer it as an interview question, or infer it from content type (e.g. "this is a lecture, chapters would be nice"). If the user did not say a trigger phrase, this skill does not apply.

The user can also override the skip-forward action at the plan confirmation step, before anything is generated: the plan always displays the current action, and the user switching it to Next chapter there counts as an explicit request (switching back to 15 seconds withdraws it).

How to enable

Chapter skip is set when the show is created, via the --playback-control flag on shows create:

save-to-spotify --json shows create \
  --title "My Show" \
  --summary "Description" \
  --image cover.jpg \
  --playback-control chapter-skip

The JSON output confirms the setting:

{"show_uri": "spotify:show:abc123", "playback_control": "chapter-skip"}

The playback_control field in the output is confirmed by the backend, not echoed from the flag. If it is missing after you passed --playback-control, the backend did not apply the setting — the show was still created, but with default controls. Retrying sends the identical request, so do not delete and recreate. Do not proceed silently either: tell the user and ask whether to continue without chapter skip or stop and report the failure.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
