SQLiteCpp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/sqlitecpp-git-branching/SKILL.md

sqlitecpp-git-branching is a skill for Claude Code from SRombauts/SQLiteCpp. It costs 24 tokens per session (353 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A Git-branching guide for SQLiteCpp, a C++ library that provides SQLite database access. It defines when to create a branch and how to name branches for tasks, fixes, features, maintenance, and releases.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it before starting SQLiteCpp tasks, issues, or features, and when creating branches for SQLite updates or software releases.
Why use it?
It prevents work from being done on the wrong branch and keeps branch names consistent with the task or issue.

About the project

SQLiteC++ is a C++ wrapper around SQLite's native C interface, providing classes for working with SQLite databases. It is used by C++ developers who want a lightweight interface with standard library types, exceptions, and resource management. The catalogue entries provide skills for working with the library.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00024 $0.00353
Opus 5.5 $0.00010 $0.00141
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00005 $0.00071
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00035

Security

Grade A, and why

sqlitecpp-git-branching scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 1mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

SQLiteCpp Git Branching

When to create a branch

  • User mentions working on a task, issue, or feature.
  • User references a GitHub issue number.

Before starting work

  1. Run git status to check current branch.
  2. If on master or wrong branch, create a task-specific branch from master.

Create the branch before the first edit. If edits were accidentally made on master, create the task branch with the working tree intact before continuing.

Branch naming

  • With issue: <issue>-<type>-<short-description>
    • 123-fix-short-description
    • 123-feature-short-description
  • Without issue: <type>-<short-description>
    • fix-short-description
    • feature-short-description
  • Issue ID is optional; do not use a 000- prefix.

Maintenance branch conventions

  • Updating the bundled SQLite3: update-sqlite-X.Y.Z (e.g. update-sqlite-3.52.2). See [[sqlitecpp-update-sqlite]].
  • Cutting a release: release-X.Y.Z. See [[sqlitecpp-release]].
  • Maintaining a released minor line: sqlitecpp-X.Y.x (e.g. sqlitecpp-3.4.x). Branch from the final release commit. Do not reuse an older major-line development branch such as sqlitecpp-3.x.

Branch-only requests

  • If the user only requests a branch, create it and stop (no file changes).
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sqlitecpp-git-branching is a skill published in the GitHub repository SRombauts/SQLiteCpp (2,807 stars, last pushed 13d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 24 tokens to every session and 353 once invoked, about $0.0001 per session on Opus 5.5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-30.
