SQLiteCpp: Skill for Claude Code

.claude/skills/sqlitecpp-troubleshooting/SKILL.md

sqlitecpp-troubleshooting is a skill for Claude Code from SRombauts/SQLiteCpp. It costs 22 tokens per session (273 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A troubleshooting guide for SQLiteCpp, a C++ library used to work with SQLite databases.

In plain words
What is it for?
It is for diagnosing compiler and linker errors, missing SQLite development files, column-metadata problems, and destructor-related assertions.
Why use it?
It helps identify whether build failures come from missing headers, libraries, compiler settings, or SQLite features.

About the project

SQLiteC++ is a C++ wrapper around SQLite's native C interface, providing classes for working with SQLite databases. It is used by C++ developers who want a lightweight interface with standard library types, exceptions, and resource management. The catalogue entries provide skills for working with the library.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00022 $0.00273
Opus 5.5 $0.00009 $0.00109
Sonnet 5.5 $0.00004 $0.00055
Haiku 4.5 $0.00002 $0.00027

Security

Grade A, and why

sqlitecpp-troubleshooting scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 2mo ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

What it actually says

SQLiteCpp Troubleshooting

Common compiler errors

  • MSVC: error C2065 or C2039 usually means a missing include or wrong symbol.
  • GCC/Clang: use of undeclared identifier or no member named indicates missing includes or API mismatch.

Common linker errors

  • LNK2019 unresolved external symbol "SQLite::Database::exec":
    • Missing SQLiteCpp library or missing source file in build.

Missing sqlite3 on Linux

  • Errors like undefined reference to sqlite3_xxx:
    • Install libsqlite3-dev, or enable internal sqlite3.
    • CMake option: -DSQLITECPP_INTERNAL_SQLITE=ON.

Column metadata error

  • undefined reference to sqlite3_column_origin_name:
    • Your sqlite3 library lacks SQLITE_ENABLE_COLUMN_METADATA.
    • Options:
      • Rebuild sqlite3 with that flag.
      • Disable SQLITE_ENABLE_COLUMN_METADATA.
      • Use internal sqlite3 (SQLITECPP_INTERNAL_SQLITE=ON).

Destructors and assertions

  • Do not throw in destructors; use SQLITECPP_ASSERT() instead.
Changes

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
