sb-brand

sb-brand is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from stablebaseline/mcp. It costs 105 tokens per session (1,571 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A brand-kit manager for Stable Baseline, a system that uses saved colours, fonts, and logos when creating presentations and documents.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to create, view, or select an organisation’s brand kit before generating branded decks, illustrations, or PDF, Word, and PowerPoint files.
Why use it?
It keeps exported slides and documents consistent with an organisation’s chosen visual identity.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00105 $0.01571
Opus 5 $0.00053 $0.00785
Sonnet 5 $0.00021 $0.00314
Haiku 4.5 $0.00011 $0.00157

Security

Grade A, and why

sb-brand scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 6d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Stable Baseline: brand kits

What this skill does

A brand kit is a per-organisation record of palette, fonts and logo. Once one exists, Stable Baseline themes branded slides and document exports to PDF, Word and PowerPoint with it automatically. This skill creates kits, lists them, and sets which kit applies where.

IDs are never hardcoded. Resolve organizationId, workspaceId and projectId at runtime from listOrganisations, listWorkspaces and listProjects in this conversation.

Permissions and plan limits, check before promising anything

  • All three brand kit tools require organisation admin rights. A user without them gets an access error, and that is a correct answer, not a fault to work around.
  • Kits are tiered: free 0, pro 1, enterprise unlimited. On the free tier there is no brand kit at all, and on pro there is exactly one, so "create another kit" on pro means replacing the thinking behind the existing one, not adding a second.

Say which of these applies before starting, rather than after a failure.

Seeing what exists

listBrandKits requires organizationId and returns kits newest first. Run it first, every time. The returned id is the brandKitId to pass to a design call or to setDefaultBrandKit.

If a kit already covers what the user wants, use it. Do not create a near-duplicate.

Creating a kit

createBrandKit requires organizationId and name. Give it exactly one source of truth for the branding:

Input What happens
logoUrl A vision model extracts the palette and fonts from the logo. The lightest-touch option: a logo alone is often enough
officeUrl An existing .pptx or .docx is mined for theme colours, fonts, logo, watermark and embedded font files. The best option when the company already has a template
tokens Explicit palette and font values, when the user knows exactly what they want

guidance carries free-text brand rules. setDefaultScope and setDefaultScopeId set the kit as the default at a scope in the same call.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

sb-brand is a skill published in the GitHub repository stablebaseline/mcp (0 stars, last pushed 11d ago), licensed MIT. It adds 105 tokens to every session and 1,571 once invoked, about $0.0005 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
