Getting it into your agent
One page per mod, every tool's command on it. A separate URL per tool would split the same page into five that compete with each other.

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.
| Model | Per session | Once invoked |
|---|---|---|
| Fable 5.1 | $0.00034 | $0.00896 |
| Opus 5 | $0.00017 | $0.00448 |
| Sonnet 5 | $0.00007 | $0.00179 |

Grade A, and why
coart-open-canvas scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 10d ago.
A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.
Nothing flagged
None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.
How it starts
The opening of the file, as written. The whole thing — 55 lines — stays where its author put it; the contents beside it link to each section on GitHub.
Coart Open Canvas
Use this workflow whenever the user asks to open or reopen Coart for the active project.
Current runtime
Coart v0.3.0 is TypeScript-first:
- Node.js 22.6+ executes
scripts/start-mcp.tsdirectly with type stripping. - The stdio entrypoint imports
mcp/server.ts; do not refer to removed.mjsentrypoints. - The in-task MCP Apps Widget is the default editing surface. It is bound to the requested project and writes only to
<projectDir>/canvas/. open_coart_editorremains available for an explicitly requested standalone Chrome/Edge app window, served from a token-protected loopback bridge.
Default open procedure
-
Call
render_coart_canvaswith the absolute active project path anddisplayMode: "sidebar"so the canvas opens in the Codex task sidebar:{ "projectDir": "C:/work/my-project", "displayMode": "sidebar" } -
Keep the project path unchanged. The snapshot, selection, view state, references, and generated assets are persisted under
<projectDir>/canvas/; never substitute the plugin cache path. -
The Widget's generation and annotation controls use the Codex Apps
sendMessagebridge. Treat the resulting message as a normal user follow-up and continue the image/HTML/Slides workflow in this conversation; never ask the user to copy or paste a prompt. -
When the user finishes editing, call
get_coart_latest_imageto return the newest project-local image as MCP image content, or callread_coart_assetwhen the user names a specific asset. Keep the original asset unless the user explicitly requests replacement. -
If the user explicitly asks for the standalone editor, call
open_coart_editor. Its follow-up controls write a project-local pending request; after the user says "繼續處理" or otherwise returns to the conversation, callget_coart_pending_request, handle the request, then callclear_coart_pending_requestafter success. Do not ask the user to paste the prompt.
Sidebar Widget (default) and inline fallback
What this file has done since we first saw it
Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.

coart-open-canvas is a skill published in the GitHub repository stevenke1981/coart (1 stars, last pushed 1mo ago), licensed MIT. It adds 34 tokens to every session and 896 once invoked, about $0.0002 per session on Opus 5. A static security scan graded it A with 0 findings. No closer match exists in the catalogue, so it is treated as the original; first seen 2026-08-31.
