check-continuity

check-continuity is a skill for Claude Code, Codex from stunt-double/stuntdouble-mcp. It costs 48 tokens per session (753 once invoked), scanned A, original, MIT.

A comparison of information across a marketing site, product, documentation, and emails. It checks whether prices, names, features, and promises agree between those places.

In plain words
What is it for?
Use it to compare pricing, billing periods, plan names, feature terms, and marketing promises across customer-facing surfaces.
Why use it?
It catches changes made in one place but not another, which can confuse customers or create incorrect expectations. Each mismatch is reported with supporting evidence.

Token cost

What it costs to keep this loaded

Counted locally with the o200k_base tokenizer, which is exact for GPT models; Claude uses its own tokenizer and its counts differ. Treat this as one consistent yardstick across the catalogue rather than a bill. Prices are per million input tokens.

ModelPer sessionOnce invoked
Fable 5.1 $0.00048 $0.00753
Opus 5 $0.00024 $0.00377
Sonnet 5 $0.00010 $0.00151
Haiku 4.5 $0.00005 $0.00075

Security

Grade A, and why

check-continuity scanned grade A with 0 findings against 26 rules in 11 categories — prompt injection, anti-refusal, data exfiltration, privilege escalation, supply chain, agent snooping, system-prompt leakage, SSRF and excessive agency — measured 8d ago.

A static scan of the body, not an audit. Every finding is printed with the line that produced it so you can judge whether it matters here. A mod is markdown that instructs an agent; that is exactly why what it instructs is worth reading.

Nothing flagged

None of the 26 patterns this scan looks for appear in this file: no shell pipes, no recursive deletes, no credential paths, no hidden text, no instruction-override or anti-refusal phrasing, no agent-config snooping. That is not a guarantee, it is the absence of the things that are checkable.

Check continuity

When to use

  • Marketing, product, docs, and emails may have drifted out of sync (pricing, plan names, feature terminology, promises)
  • A pricing or naming change shipped on one surface but maybe not the others
  • You want cross-surface drift caught as content ships, not by customers

Instructions

  1. Resolve context:

    • list_workspaces() → pick the workspace
    • list_projects(workspace_id) → match the surfaces to a project, or let create_checklist find/create it
  2. Ensure a reviewer actor exists:

    • list_actors(workspace_id), else create_actor(...)
  3. Create a checklist per surface with mirrored extraction checks:

    • Record the same facts on each surface so they can be compared:
      • "Record the price, billing period, and plan names shown"
      • "Record what the main feature is called on this page"
    • Plus cross-surface assertions on the primary surface:
      • "The price at checkout matches the price on the pricing page"
      • "The feature is named consistently; it is never called by an old name"
  4. For promise-versus-product continuity, use an interview:

    • create_interview(...) with a task that walks from the marketing claim to using the feature ("The homepage says setup takes two minutes; sign up and see if that holds"), a persona participant, and launch_interview
    • Poll and read get_interview_report
  5. Run everything and compare recorded values across surfaces:

    • run_checklist per surface → poll get_checklist_run until terminal
  6. Report a discrepancy table:

    • Each item, what every surface shows, which surfaces disagree, with evidence
    • Rank by customer impact (billing mismatches first)
  7. Offer standing coverage:

    • A scheduled create_workflow so drift is caught as content ships (see setup-guardrails)

Example output

Continuity check — marketing site vs app vs docs

| Item | Marketing | App (checkout) | Docs | Disagree? |
| ----------------- | ---------------- | ---------------- | ---------------- | ------------- |
| Pro price / month | $29 | $39 | $29 | App ≠ others |
| Plan names | Starter/Pro/Team | Starter/Pro/Team | Starter/Pro/Biz | Docs: "Biz" |
| Core feature name | "Flows" | "Flows" | "Workflows" | Docs: old name|
| Setup promise | "2-minute setup" | ~6 min in interview transcript | | Promise > reality |

Ranked: billing mismatch first (App charges $39 vs $29 advertised). Then docs plan-name + feature-name drift.
Offer: schedule this so drift is caught as content ships.

What this file has done since we first saw it

Hashed on every crawl. A supply-chain change to an agent config is a question of when, not whether, so the history is kept rather than the latest state alone.
